Captain Rex x Reader

Wingwoman Ahsoka

"Master (Y/L/N)!" the young Jedi padawan, Ahsoka Tano said, running towards you in the Jedi temple. You stopped and gave her a soft smile as she caught up and leaned over to catch her breath.

"Good morning, Padawan Ahsoka." you said, putting a hand on her shoulder. The two of you looked awkwardly at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"Wow, (Y/N), I don't think I'm going to get used to your new title anytime soon."

"Neither will I, girlfriend. So, how are things with Master Skywalker lately?"

Ahsoka erupted into dozens of crazy stories and adventures with her and her master, occasionally mentioning their Clone Captain, Rex. You had always noticed something different about him whenever the two of you interacted. Maybe it was the way he spoke... or his blonde buzzed hair... or how his eyes shined when he got to brag about his Jedi General...

You found yourself lost in a daydream- rather, Ahsoka snapped you out of it. "Yo, (Y/N), what are you thinking about?"

"I just really admire your Clone Captain. He seems very... capable." You said, blushing.

Ahsoka's eyes widened. "You're not into ole' Rexter are y-"

You cut her off by clapping your hand on her mouth. "Not in the hallway with dozens of Jedi masters, Ahsoka!" you said quietly. "In here." you ducked into an empty meeting room.

Ahsoka looked like she was about to explode. "(Y/N)!! When did this happen??" She asked, barely containing herself.

"There's no 'this.' I just think he's a good guy. Don't read too much into it." You said, trying to shut her down.

"I just think he's a good guy..." Ahsoka mockingly said in a singsongy voice. Her voice dropped down a little lower. "I think he's very... capable."

You groaned. "Ahsoka..."

She giggled uncontrollably.

"Just forget it." You said, turning to leave the room.

"Wait!" Ahsoka grabbed your sleeve before you could get too far. "I know I've just been playing around, but for real... Do you have feelings for him?" She said with honest eyes.

You looked at her and thought for a moment. Sure he made you feel things like confidence, pride, and security, but there was something else you couldn't quite put your finger on...

"I don't know." You said earnestly. "There's something different about him."

Ahsoka held in a squeal to keep her demeanor from scaring you off again. "That sounds like 'having feelings for him' to me, don't you think?"

"I don't know!!!" You sighed. "Jedi training didn't teach me about any of this." You plopped down on an empty chair.

"Well luckily I've been trained by some of the flirtiest Jedi around, save from Master Voss, maybe. I think I've got a pretty good sense for romance with Master Skywalker ogling over Senator Amidala all the time." Ahsoka said.

She must know about their relationship. Of course, you did too. You can tell just by looking at them. Some "secret" relationship that is. It made you smile. The thought of a secret relationship was a little exhilarating.

"So can you help me out?" You asked Ahsoka.

"It depends what you want help with. Are you trying to get rid of your feelings? Or are you trying to disobey the Jedi order?"

"I'm not sure... I don't know what I want." You put your head in your hands, thoroughly confused. "I think I want to spend some more time with your Captain... but that might make this whole situation that much worse."
