!!! WARNING SENSITIVE TOPICS DICUSSED IN THIS CHAPTER !!!
Felix's POV:
"Woman I am telling you, you snore like a freight train!" Mike huffed, making Cassie glare at him. The woman looked ready to kill.
"I do not! If either of us snore its you! You sound like a dying pig!" She argued as she stood up and started to gather the dishes.
I quickly stood up and grabbed my plate along with Isaac and Michael's before heading around the breakfast bar to place them in the sink. I turn around and grab the leftovers from the counter while Cassie opens a cabinet and pulls out some Tupper ware to place them in.
I can do this Felix it's okay you can rest!" Cassie says as she takes the plates from my hands.
I frown and shake my head, "I've had enough resting. I'm tired of being tired."
"Suit your self!" She shrugs and puts the bacon and pancakes into the plastic containers while I make my way over to the sink and start filling it with boiling hot water. The hotter the better. I hate washing dishes in cold water.
I grab the scrub brush and get to work washing the plates. I make it about halfway through before Cassie joins me. I step to the side to give her room at the sink as well.
"You wash I dry?" Cassie asks with a smile.
I nod and hand her the clean plates before getting to work on the pans. I grumble a little to my self as I try scraping the eggs off of the edges of what I thought was supposed to be a non-stick skillet.
What did he fry in this thing, glue? He seriously needs new pans.
Between Cassie and I it only take a few more minutes to get the dishes clean, dry and put away. I follow behind her as she leads the way back out into the living room where I can hear the boys laughing.
When we get there we find Dante and Michael on the ground playing with Legos while Mike and Isaac and lounging on the couches sitting quietly. Cassie moves to join her husband and takes a seat next to him on one couch, leaving the space next tot Isaac open. Instead of immediately sitting I stand there watching the boys interact with on another. Dante kept searching for pieces in a pile of random Legos before handing his finds to Michael who adds them to what he's building. I watch as Michael placed a final piece on his contraption. I notice him bite his lip like he's thinking hard about something then he stands with it in his hands and runs over to Isaac with it.
"What's this buddy?" Isaac asks, leaning forwad to be eye level with my son.
"It's a sling shot, see? You put the piece here and throw it by press'in here!" Michael informs him and I see Isaac give him a big smile.
"Wow thats really cool! You did a great job!" Issac says and ruffles Michaels hair.
Michaels little face lights up and he turns to run over to me.
"Daddy look what I made! Isaac said its cool! Do you think it's cool Daddy?" He asks with hopeful eyes.
I bend down and lift him into my arms and tickle his side making him giggle. I ignore the shakiness in my arms as I shift him so he's sitting on my hip and answer, "I think it's amazing baby. You and Dante did a good job."
I could feel eyes on me so I look up from my son and notice Isaac watching us with a smile on his face. He sees me looking and winks at me making my face go thermonuclear and shocking the hell out of me. That makes him smile even bigger so I glare at him which makes him chuckle. and I find I love the sound.
