Avery

I was flying to New York for my Prada Campaign shoot and I was excited. None of my friends were free; Liam had work to do so I was travelling alone. It's fine since I will be working most of the time.

My college had to grant me leave for these days because I had taken all of my leaves and since this was important, the Dean granted it. Oh! How grateful I was when she granted me leave.

I was picked up from the airport and was taken to a 7 star hotel room. Even though they knew that I was the only one staying, I had a whole suite comprising of 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms, a balcony, private pool and a living room. They were treating me.

I was a letter from Prada and some gifts next to it.

"Dear Avery,

Welcome to New York, we hope you have a great time. This is a little gift from us.

Love, Prada," it said on a card and I was excited to see what they had for me.

In there they had a watch, sunglasses, bracelet, earrings, necklace, a dress, leopard print boots, a blue-white-black cross body and a handbag. They all fit me perfectly. Everything was amazing. They had told me that I had the day off. If I wanted to see the city, I had a car at my disposal which I could use and I was ready to.

They had an envelope for me which I opened and I found money in it.

"Dear Avery,

This is some money we are presenting to you like an advance and this is not a part of your salary we will be paying you," it said and I was shocked. They were already paying me enough, gave me so many expensive things, paid for everything and now they are giving me money to spend in New York. Wow!

I decided to go shopping and look around New York since I had nothing else to do. I went in the car they presented me with and I kind of liked it. When I was walking out, no one seemed to care about anything else but what they were doing. There were no paparazzi following me just because I was dating someone famous.

I even had my pamper day where I got my manicure and pedicure and then went back to my hotel because I saw tired and fell asleep immediately.

I woke up the next day, got ready in my everyday outfit and no make-up and got taken to the Prada headquarters where I met the CEO and the tem who was going to get me ready for my shoot.

They transformed me into someone I didn't even know and I was left in shock. I looked at myself in the full length mirror, with my hair and make-up down and I looked stunning and different.

"You look gorgeous honey," the make-up artist said kissing my cheek and I laughed as I walked into the studio.

We did a couple of shoots with the direction of the photographer and soon enough I got so comfortable that I didn't need any direction from the photographer.

"You are so natural," they said seeing our shots and we were soon done. It felt amazing going back to the hotel with a feeling that I achieved something.

I went for my dress fitting for the fashion show and I was surprised with a bunch of sunflowers, sitting in my room, waiting for me.

"Dear Avery,

I know how much you miss me. Look around," it said and I turned around to find Liam standing there. I ran up to him and pulled him into a hug.

"You have to stop surprising me like this," I said kissing him and he laughed, picking me up in his arms. I missed him so much and I melted in his arms.
