Chapter 36
Avery
"Hey," I say entering our room and Jacob looks at me surprised.
"Avy?" he asks confused at first but he runs and hugs me, lifting me off the floor and twirls me around. I laugh as I see him so happy to see me and he keeps my entire face and then puts me back on the ground.
"What are you doing back home so early?" he asks and I smile.
"Well I missed my husband and this is our second wedding anniversary so of course I would come back home Jakey," I say and he kisses me. Yes, Jacob and I have been married for two years now and I am happy. Jacob turned 27 recently and I was 25 now.
"What do you want to do today?" I ask and he smiles.
"I don't know. Let's go out," he says and I nod. We both sit in his car and he decides to drive.
"You know Avy, I have started going back to work and I missed it so much. It felt so good going back doing photo shoots and walking down the runway," he says and I rub his leg.
"I am so proud of you Jacob," I say and I kiss his cheek.
It was a very difficult time for Jacob because he wasn't happy within. I could see how much he was trying to be happy for me and his therapist said that he was only happy when I was around him, so now I have cancelled my world tour, Smiles, after completing 5 months out of the original 9 months to stay close to him because he is all that matters to me now.
"We have been together for 3 years right?" he asks and I nod. It seemed like it was such a long time ago when I met Jacob and now we were married. Every time I look at him, I feel like I can give up my whole world just to see him smile.
We had lunch in a restaurant we went when we first started dating and then went shopping. We were stopped by some fans and we did take pictures with them and soon the paparazzi were surrounding us but it didn't matter to me because I was happy with Jacob.
"Avy, look," Jacob says pointing at a billboard that was put up for our second year wedding anniversary, wishing us good luck and I looked at Jacob and he was gleaming. The billboard meant a lot to us.
"Oh my god," was all I could say as Jacob pulls me closer by my waist and we stand there watching our picture together that we took on our wedding on the billboard.
"Avy, you are everywhere. Look!" he says and we turn around to see my face on so many billboards in Times Square. One of it was a billboard of mine and Jordan Peters' collaboration song for 'Patience' as it was no. 1 trending, the other was for a promotion for trending my song and just some of my ads were there too.
"Avy! This is perfect," he says kissing my head and I smile. This felt like my greatest achievement because I never in my life saw so many billboards on my name on it.
"Let me take a picture," Jacob says and takes a picture of me standing in the middle of it all and then took pictures of the billboards.
"Why are you taking pictures of it Jakey?" I ask and he gives me a cheeky smile.
"Because I am proud of my wife and I want to send it to everyone," he says and I laugh, kissing him and then give him a tight hug. I almost disappeared against him because he was so tall and muscular.
"Let's get a tattoo," I say and Jacob stares at me with wide eyes.
"Come on Jakey. This will be our first one together and it's on our anniversary," I say trying to get him to give in and he finally gave in to make me happy so went to a tattoo shop and sat there for two hours.
