Chapter 34

Avery

My stylists help me get into my dress which had a surprising neckline featuring an open tailored corset top overlapping a fitted sweetheart inner corset, combined with a voluminous skirt made of an ice pink and ivory 3D lace material with multiple two-tone silk tulle inserts and it fit me perfectly.

My make up was all done in a dewy and minimal way and my hair was pulled into a messy bun and I had on these huge earrings and no neck piece. I liked the way I looked and to top it all off I wore my sparkly heels and my engagement ring.

"Avery? You look- wow. I have no words right now. I'm speechless," Amelia says tearing up and I smile.

"I can't believe my daughter is getting married today. I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday and now she's getting married," my dad says and he wipes his tears.

"Come on dad. You'll make me cry now," I say and he hugs me. Yes, that was right. I was getting married today. I was getting married to Jacob after being engaged for 2 months and I couldn't wait for me to be his wife.

"Are all of you ready?" our wedding planner asks and we nod. Amelia was my maid of honour, where as Addison, Olivia and Amanda were my bridesmaids. Ashley was also my bridesmaid because my parents wanted us to get along.

"Let's get you married then," mom says and I smile. I took my dad's hand and we walked to the hall where I was getting married. We were currently in Malibu and our wedding wasn't that big. Only very close friends and family was attending it and not many people knew about today.

As I walk down the aisle, I see Jacob tearing up but he smiles widely. His best man rubbed his back and smiled at me. I was happy today. I was getting married and I never thought this day would ever come.

Everyone stood up and I could hear some gasps but I smile and only look at Jacob who looked handsome in his suit. I saw Liam in the guests seat but I didn't find Ashley and I honestly couldn't care less about her.

As I reached the podium, my dad gives my hand for Jacob and he helps me get on it and doesn't let go of my hand even after we said our vows. Soon I place a wedding band on his finger and he does the same.

The wedding band I had looked perfect with my wedding ring and I knew that Jacob had it customised for me and I loved it. I loved the way it looked on my hand and I loved how well it got together with my engagement ring.

"Then with the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. Jacob, you may kiss your bride," the officiant says and Jacob kisses me softly. Everyone cheered for us as we got down too.

"Everyone, Mr. and Mrs. Neill," they announce and the cheers get louder.

I get changed into a sheer strapless lace mermaid dress with a floral embroidery made from ivory and silver sequins gown with the skirt as semi sheer with an underlay of French lace. The sleeves were off the shoulder and as it went to the back, they were lace and were long and were sweeping the floor.

My hair was parted in the middle and was pulled into a sleek bun and a diamond headpiece was placed on top of my head. Her neck was empty but her ears had enormous diamond earnings. Her makeup was kept pretty natural and neutral except for my lips which were bold red.

We walked into our reception and saw everything set up and everyone was enjoying the party. The speeches were given and they were very heartfelt to us.

"I wrote this song for Jacob just a few days ago and I want to sing it to my husband tonight. It's called 'I love you'. This is my first time singing it in front of people," I say getting on stage and everyone applauds. I knew that the cameras were rolling too.
