Chapter 18
Avery
"Avery Brooke everyone!" Judy, the host for my tonight's talk show says as everyone applauds and cheers as I get on the stage. I wave at them and smile.
I was dressed in a red denim jacket with matching red jeans, white crop top, black byfar handbag, black combat boots and diamond studs and extra for my extra ear piercings. My hair was curled and set in place and my makeup was natural.
"It's so nice to meet you again Avery," Judy says giving me a big hug and I hug her back. I have met her before on several occasions but this was my first talk show with her and I was excited.
"Same. You look beautiful," I say looking at her in her dress and she smiles as she takes her seat in front of me.
"You look wonderful too," she says and I smile as I take my seat. The audience sat down too as soon as we sat down.
"So Avery, how are you?" she asks and I smile.
"I am wonderful. How are you?" I ask back.
"Good, thank you," she says and I nod.
"Your debut album 'Changes' is a huge hit. Your album is number one trending all over the world for the past 3 months that you have released it," she says and everyone cheers as I smile.
"Yes," I say acknowledging it. It sure had been 3 months since my album had been dropped and about 5 months since I have started and finished working on it. There were 10 songs on it which I wrote with Noah and every single one was a hit.
"Your album was regarded as one of the best albums of this generation especially a debut album, how does it make you feel?" she asks and the applauds and cheers quite down to let me speak.
"It feels so surreal," I say and some laugh.
"I really am honestly so thankful for all the love and support I received despite being new in the industry and I am grateful for everyone who helped me, inspired me and made me release the album," I say and they all nod.
"You are 20 right now, correct?" she asks and I nod.
"And Liam Carson turned 21 about few weeks ago. What did you do on his birthday? Did you wish him or get him something?" she asks and I look at her.
"I mean I already gave him his present about the time we split up and I don't think he actually needs my birthday wish nor does he wait for it," I say and everyone laughs and claps at the shade I threw at Liam unintentionally, even Judy was laughing.
"So is it true that your album is about Liam and your relationship?" she asks and I just smile.
"I mean I wrote from my personal experiences and yes a part of it is from my experience with him and our past," I say.
"Which songs are based on him," Judy asks even though the songs about him were pretty obvious, she had to ask me to confirm it.
"If you listen to the album, you will find out which songs are about it because it's that obvious and I'm sure everyone knows that already," I say and she nods. Judy and I have already spoken about all of it but yet she had to ask for the audience.
"How are your parents feeling about your current situation?" she asks.
"They are quite supportive of me. My family says they love my album and I have caught them listening to it quite a few times. They say they are happy for me and I can see it but they were pretty mad about what happened because they were close to me and everyone in my life then," I say subtly telling that they were mad at Liam for cheating on me.
