I couldn't imagine anything more miserable than for my alarm to off at 7 AM after I was up all night. I was still also hoping that last night was a dream, but when reality set in, I quickly realized it wasn't.
I got up and walked to my shower. I turned the water on hot to the point it was steaming and jumped in, knocking off the excess dirt from the trails. I washed my hair and face, then wrapped a towel around my body. I picked out a pair of gray leggings, a white T-shirt and my ugg boots. I then grabbed my favorite Royal blue hoodie and decided to let my wet hair air dry.
I headed downstairs and saw my Aunt talking to Raymond. Guilt swam over me about letting Monroe compel her.
"Seven!" She smiled. "How was your date last night with Mr. Cittadino?" I saw the excitement in her eyes. Out of habit, I looked over to Raymond as she mentioned his name. He didn't clench his teeth or leave the room. I think there is a good chance these two could make up.
"Great." I smiled walking to the fridge, "He wants me to meet his family this weekend."
"Oh my gosh girlfriend we have to go out to get you a dress." She beamed. I could tell she wanted to do this so badly considering she didn't have a daughter of her own, plus I owed her.
"Okay," I smiled.
"We'll go Friday!" She winked before grabbing her coffee and walking off.
I looked at Raymond who looked exhausted. "Hey did you sleep-"
"She said she'll talk. She doesn't want Monroe around though." He blurted.
I jolted at his bluntness.
"Alright, thanks." I said softly before walking out of the door.
Monroe was waiting at the edge of the driveway with his shades on. The music was blaring causing the ground to vibrate. I walked up to the car and he turned the music down and opened the door from the inside.
"Good morning." He smiled.
"Hey." I smiled. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"How was Dana?" He asked.
"Great, so great, Im going dress shopping tomorrow." I groaned. I really hated dresses.
Monroe chuckled, "At least she isn't upset."
"I don't know whats worse." I teased. He smirked placing his hand on my thigh and my lip quivered.
"Your heart is-"
"Accelerating, I know jack ass." I said rolling my eyes. He burst out laughing.
"It's so easy."
"Shut up." I laughed.
We pulled up to the school and as usual he opened my door then put his arm around my shoulders, except this time he didn't drop it like he usually does at the double doors. We entered the school like this and all the students stared as their rumors were finally cleared up. A few students saw certain things in the past, but now we publicly displayed it.
Allison stood leaning against the painted brick wall studying me with eyes of hate.
I smiled at her. Kill them with kindness right?
Monroe turned his head slightly kissing the side of my head and I wanted to melt. We approached Mr. Brooke class and no students had arrived yet. Mr. Brooke stood at his desk with a cup of coffee. "Goodmorning." He said.
"Brooks, my guy." Monroe smiled, He was not amused.
"I must say Cittadino, Seven's biography made even me, of all people, feel something for you." He smiled.
Monroe shot me a look and all I could do is smile innocently.
"I see." He smirked. he then turned to me, "What exactly did you say Miss Knight?"
"I'm not telling you." I said before walking to my desk, he followed after me.
"C'monnnn." He said seductively, "I'll let you read mine." My eyes shot to him.
"Deal, but we trade them at the same time." I demanded.
"Deal." He smirked flashing his pearly whites and dimples.
I felt my stomach have a fluttering sensation so I sat in my seat.
"Alright class," Coach Brooke said as the final bell rang, "I have graded your biographies and I will be handing them back on Friday. Today we are going into formats."
The class went on and I was yearning for the bell to ring. School has never really been my thing. I hated people telling me what to do, I hated a lot of the people, I was never happy in school. The bell finally rang and Monroe walked me to my next class.
When lunch finally came around I sat with Monroe, Lacey, Eli, and Sterling.
Lacey was unpleasant, but she was slightly calmer than usual. It was more like she was tolerating me instead of hating me, now.
Throughout the day I kept thinking about the conversation I was going to have with Mya. I hope she's cooperative and doesn't try to maul me. When 7th hour ended, I met Monroe at his car. He was leaning up against it in a black T-shirt and jeans. He looked so good. The sun was beaming down faintly shining through his black hair.
When I walked up to him he took his glasses off and looked into my eyes, before connecting our lips. My lips started to heat up as if electricity was running through my body. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled away, looking him in his piercing grey eyes.
"You look beautiful." He smiled.
"Don't lie I barely had four hours of sleep last night." I laughed.
"Doesn't matter." He answered. I could feel my cheeks flush then felt the stares of students.
"WHAT?" I yelled making Monroe laugh loudly,"WHY are you always staring? We are dating!" I yelled. The students slowly looked away.
