Monroe and I walked back to his Mustang and I felt really accomplished for the first time in a while, as if everything was finally coming together. I know that there's more difficulty ahead, but mending these two families rivalry was the first step.

"Did I see Mya smiling?" Monroe asked me with a smile on his own face. "She never smiles."

"I guess I've got the magic touch." I boasted making him laugh.

"Oh, you sure do." He smirked.

We got back into the car and headed back to Monroe's house. I finally felt somewhat of a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

When we walked in Eli and Sterling were watching football on the flat screen in the living room.

"Seven! Monroe! Look at the score!" Sterling yelled laughing.

"SHUT UP." Eli yelled back making it clear he was rooting for the losing team. I laughed sitting on the couch across from them. Lacey walked in with her long black hair in a high pony tail and sweats on before she rolled her eyes and Eli and Sterling's screams.

"Welcome to the family." She said to me in a monotoned voice, "This is your future."

I laughed, while the boys told her to shut up.

"Seven, can you come help me pick out an outfit for my lunch date later? Mom's out and I could really use a female opinion." She asked me. I smiled nodding my head. I was shocked she wanted us to build that sister kind of relationship, but I wasn't complaining. I walked into her bedroom seeing lots of black décor, and a few pops of purple. We seemed to be a lot more alike than I thought.

"I love your room." I said walking in. She turned around to smile at me, "Really? Mom always thought it was too dull."

"It's my exact style, except the purple, I'm more a blue person." I said sitting down on her comfortable bed.

"They're close cousins." She laughed.

"So, you're going on a date. that's exciting." I smiled.

"Yeah I'm stepping out of my comfort zone a little bit." She sighed, "I'm nervous."

"Why are you nervous? You're gorgeous, he's lucky." I said.

"Well, he's my mate." She continued rambling through her closet.

"Your mate? You found him? Oh my God." I beamed in excitement.

"I've known who he was all along, I just wasn't ready you know? But after I talked to you, I realized I'm just wasting time." She said holding a dress up to her body.

"I'm so happy for you. Things are destined to go great." I smiled. She nodded her head.

I helped her pick out a dress that was a little out of her comfort zone, It was a casual dress with short sleeves that had olive green and white flowers along it. The bodice was textured adding definition to her curves. She straightened her hair and parted it to where it was tucked behind her ear on one side. The colors made her golden eyes pop. She looked amazing.

"Thank you Seven, I never would've picked this." She smiled looking at herself in the mirror.

"Of course, you look great." I responded. "Also, I now have a favor I want to ask you."

"What's that?" She asked turning to me.

"I know a lot has been going on, so I wanted to do something special for Monroe's birthday in a couple weeks. I was thinking it could be a little bit of a surprise, but I want all of you to be apart of it, and fingers crossed, but Raymond too." I suggested. She nodded her head.
