Chapter 25

"Come on, come with me! Hurry up!" I was being led through a long spiralling staircase my hand was held in larger males. I glanced up his face was blurred He led me around and around a psychotic laugh echoing through the halls. I could see myself  I wore an emerald dress and my hair was pinned up "where are we going?" I questioned as we stopped and the man pulled a book from one of the shelves and he led me through another passage, "We must get your mother without them finding us" he whispered back and began to run through a long corridor until we stopped a man stood in front of us and laughed bitterly "Avada Kedavra!" the man who hand I held shrieked and a blast of green few from his wand and the man who stood in our way dropped to the floor. My hand raised to my mouth as we ran faster and faster. My feet ached from running in the heels and I was panting from having to run for so long, we finally stopped at a painting and the man spoke "W.McCroghen" and the painting slid open and we were in mothers study. The man opened draws and cupboards searching for something, banding started on the door and the man's eyes widened, he pulled back the carpet and revealed a small trap door. He planted a kiss on my forehead before taking me into a warm hug "be safe, follow the tunnel you will find your mother at the end" he begged, letting go of me and wiping the tears from my eyes. He opened the trap door and helped me down it he big me farewell as he handed me a lantern and closed the door covering it with the carpet. I listened carefully to what was now being said in the office "where is she!" "I don't know!" "you liar!" "Avada Kedevra!" a body hit the floor with a thud

I shot up panting and quickly and glanced around, I was in the hospital wing, I looked to my left and there laid Ron his hand intertwined with mine his head resting on the edge, and to my left, Harry was doing the same. With my sudden movements, the two-shot up "Oh my God!" Ron yelled and Harry stood "Madame Pomfrey!! Madame Pomfrey! she's awake!" he shouted and the women rushed to my side "oh my you're lucky to be alive!" she handed me a potion and I drank it quickly, she explained my injuries 'two head wounds, my arm and leg were sliced open my back had a large gash, I had fractured a piece of my skull and I was bitten by the basilisk and its venom ran through my bloodstream' after she explained then she left quickly. The doors opened and in walked Hermione and Ginny. "Oh my!" Hermione dropped the bag full of sweets she was holding and Ginny dropped the stack of muggle books they ran over and engulfed me into a hug. "I'm so sorry!" Ginny cried "I'm so so sorry! I should have listened to you!" she squeezed me tighter and tighter her tears soaking my clothes. I rubbed her back and swayed side to side as the two girls hung out of me crying into my shoulder. When they finally realised me it was Ron's turn he threw his arms over my shoulders "I was so horrible to you! Ginny told me everything! I'm so sorry!" he hugged me his hand entangled in my hair and I hushed him as if he was a baby he let go finally and Harry turned to me squeezing me and placing a light kiss on my cheek "you really are something else aren't you?" he laughed.

"You almost died!" Hermione's voice cracked as she held onto my hand tightly, "your heart stopped we were all so worried!" Ginny added and the two boys stared at me guiltily "if we hadn't told you to meet us none of this would have happened!" they said in unison looking down and I finally spoke my voice was rough yet gentle "it's all okay, we are here together and that's all that matters!" I smiled my voice was weak and barely audible "how long have I been here?" I rasped out and they all looked at each other "About 3 weeks" Harry answered and I quickly pushed my legs over the side of the bed ready to get up "No! You must stay in bed!" Ron insisted pushing me back down and I huffed, I got a good look around the place my hospital bed was covered in balloons and cards and sweets, even a few stuffed animals. I glanced at my friends who had worry written all over their faces "But I'm soooo hungry! can one of you ask Madame Pomfrey if I can go to the great hall for dinner?" I questioned and they all jumped up at the same time and glared at each other, Harry ran off towards the nurse "Madame Pomfrey!" he screamed and I just laughed.

Hermione had told me that I had saved Ginny by covering her as If I was a shield, she told me how not even 4 hours after we went into the chamber the serum for all the petrified children was ready. She told me how people had been coming to visit me non stop and I had been labelled a hero along with Harry and how Hagrid had returned. It was a lot of information to take in but I listened as good as I could. Harry came back "she said yes as long as you come back afterwards" he grinned and I sat up quickly Hermione and Ginny coming to my side taking a shoulder each helping me stand, they made the boys leave and go get me some clothes as they helped me to the bathroom to clean the blood and grime off myself. 20 minutes later they came into me with some clothes "Malfoy let them in to get these, what a shock" Hermione laughed "he even visited a few times, he apologized to you a lot" Ginny added a small grin on her face. It was a quite simple outfit a plain white dress, white socks and shoes and an emerald-coloured cardigan, the girls helped me change. My legs felt weak and bruises littered my body. We walked through the halls and the more we walked the easier it was to move myself we reached the doors to the great hall and pushed them open, everyone stopped eating and turned to stare at me. I glanced around nervously and Dumbledore stood up from his seat and began to clap the rest of the teachers joining in and soon enough the entire hall was. My eyes flew around the room and landed on William who wore a wide grin.

{Williams pov}

The entire Hall stood cheering for her, she looked like an angel her skin was soft but small cuts decorated her features, her eyes shined in the moonlight. She wore all white and it complimented her skin so well, Her eyes a beautiful (e/c) made her way to mine a bright grin displayed itself on my face and she took off running towards me my arms open wide and I lift her, her legs dangling lightly off the floor her head in my shoulder, my hand wrapped in her hair, soft and silky, as I breathed her in, the smell of vanilla, coconut and slight cinnamon reached my nostrils and my smile widens. "I missed you" I whisper into her ear and I felt her lips curve into my shoulder "as did I" her voice was simply divine and could lull even the most tormented people into a place of happiness, I really do love her, all of her and she belongs to me. We ate dinner at the Slytherin table that night, Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny sat with us and I didn't mind too much, we laughed all night and none of the Slytherins said a thing about us sitting with her. We walked her back to the hospital wing and she hugged us all gently and the two boys flushed scarlet and I glared at them. 

{Authors Pov}

(Name) entered the room and made her way through the hospital wing it was cold and empty. A silhouette sat on the chair beside her bed she pulled back the curtain and there sat Draco Malfoy. She was confused, to say the least, but she sat down on the edge of her bed opposite him slipping her shoes off, she turned her body and moved to the middle of her bed and peered at him he was focused on the floor. "I'm sorry" the blonde muttered, "Pardon?" (Name) spoke and his head moved from the floor to her face "I'm sorry" he repeated, "I'm sorry for everything, for saying those things about your father, for letting you leave that night, you ended up like this because I let you leave" His voice was quiet and he sounded fragile he cast his gaze to the floor, "It's fine Draco, It's not your fault!" she leaned over resting her hand on his shoulder and he shrugged it off. "It is. and I'm sorry." he stood up  " for you" he handed her a lavender rose and a pale pink one and a small bag and with that he exited the room. 

(Name) placed the roses on the chair where he once sat and turned the bag upside down and out fell a few items, a box of peppermint toads, a box of Bertie botts every flavoured bean's, four chocolate frogs, exploding bonbons, two bottles of butterbeer and a green cotton blanket. I untapped the blanket and inside was two books 'The Philosophy of the Mundane: Why the Muggles Prefer Not to Know' and an actual muggle book
