Buckbeat jumps around happily snagging bats from the sky. My head rested on Harry's shoulder, the three of us sat in the shadows watching the stars as he gave me and Hermione some chocolate. "Before. Down by the lake. When I was with Sirius... I did see someone... that someone made the dementors go away..." Harry muttered and Hermione turned to look at him "With a Patronus. I heard Snape telling Dumbledore when we were taken to the hospital. According to him, only a really powerful wizard could have conjured it." Hermione answered, "It was my Dad. It was my Dad who conjured the Patronus." Harry was persistent that it was his sad. I smiled sadly and ran my fingers over Harry's hand "Harry...your Dad's...you know" I felt bad for evening brining it up "Dead I know. I'm just telling you two what I saw." he replied his voice cracking, and I nodded softly not wanting to press Harry further, I glance beyond the trees, toward the Whomping Willow. "Here we come" Hermione mutters. shadows emerge under a full moon: Sirius. Harry.Pettigrew. Lupin. Hermione. Ron. SleepwalkingSnape and Me. Harry studies himself and Sirius "You see Sirius talking to me? He's asking me to come live with him." Harry smiles to himself "really?" I lifted my head from his shoulder and he nods "When we free him, I'll never have to go back to the Dursley's. I'm going to tell him I'd like to live someplace in the country. I think he'd like that, after all, those years in Azkaban. We don't need a big place and I can help him." Harry speaks to himself more than me and Hermione his voice is quiet yet filled with happiness. A howl pierces our ears "its happened Lupin has transformed" Hermione spoke quietly as we watched "Which means Pettigrew is slipping safely into the night. While we just stand here." Harry was bitter, and I didn't blame him. A fierce growling is heard as twin silhouettes -- the dog and the werewolf-- bound into the tall grass. Harry watches himself appear, hurl the stick as before. The werewolf turns, begins to stalk towards him "Owhhhhhh" Harry spins quickly and sees Hermione, hands cupped to her mouth, making a loud howling noise. He covers her mouth "what are you doing?!" he snapped at the girl they watched as the werewolf freezes but begins towards Harry again "Saving your life" Hermione snaps and I cup my hands around my mouth "owhhhh" it sounded a lot more animalistic than Hermione's. Harry looks at the two of us "Thanks but we have to move" "why?" Hermione questioned "Because Lupin is coming this way" a childish laugh bubbled in my throat, the excitement, the adrenaline rush, it was perfect. I grab Hermione's wrist and we begin to run, my laughs echoing through the woods as we run and hide behind a tree, Harry slaps his hand over my mouth and Lupin appears and begins to approach the tree we sidestep to the other side and Lupin disappears. "Buckbeak. We've got to find him." Hermione whispers as we begin to move again and Lupin appeared from around the tree we all freeze. The werewolf poises itself, preparing to pounce, when the trees shake with the fury of a hurricane and Buckbeak charges into the clearing, standing in front of the three of us. The werewolf snarls and begins WEREWOLF SNARLS ANGRILY, to charge. With lightning-fast reflexes, Buckbeak's claws slash the air only inches from the werewolf's face. The werewolf stops, eyes glittering with rage, then he howls. Turning, it vanishes into the forest. "Poor Professor Lupin is having a really tough night..." Hermione spoke her voice laced in pity, a chill wind rises and the trees tremble I shakily look up and dementors flew above us. "Let's go" Harry demands and we sprint towards the lake.

We watch as 'Harry'  vainly attempt to conjure aPatronus as the cyclone of dementors only continues to grow. "this is horrible" Hermione mutters sadly, "Don't worry. My Dad will come...Right there... you'll see... he'llcome... any minute... he'llconjure the Patronus" Harry insisted, I look at him wearily He is transfixed, staringhungrily toward the outcrop. The wind rises. The Lakebegins to freeze.  One after another,Dementors drop from the sky, vanish in the cyclone "No one's coming, Harry..." Hermione speaks her voice is quiet, I look. Nothing. Desperately, my eyes flash to thecyclone, to the pitiful sight of Harry and Black at thewater's edge... wracked with pain... dying, "No one's coming! You're dying, both of you... and no one'scoming!" I snapped, my voice is harsher than it should have been, Harry's face changes. A riddle unravels. He draws hiswand. "Harry! No!" Hermione cries, she was too late.  Harry slashes through the trees, down to therocky outcrop, to the exact spot where he said his fatherappeared. Poising his wand, he looks out over the sea ofDementors on the other side of the lake. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" his voice booms loudly, A wisp of silver escapes his wand, hovering like a mist, then blooms magnificently. The trees explode in light and I recoiled in shock. The Lake blazes with reflected fire. Harry standsutterly still, wand extended to the heavens. Across thelake, the Dementors retreat. Harry waits, still as astatue, until each and everyone is gone. Then he simply lets his arm drop. I begin to cautiously approach him and grab him and we all run off towards the castle. Outside thegrounds, the Dementors wait restlessly. Up ahead, Fudgeand Snape enter the Dark Tower, torches in hand. We soared through the sky on buckbeat "you two were right,  Itwasn't my dad I saw earlier. Itwas... me. I saw myself conjuringthe Patronus before. I knew Icould do it this time, because...because I'd already done it. Doesthat make sense?" I ponder on the boy's words and turn my head to look at Hermione "no!" we reply in unison and buckbeat lands. We run through the halls of the school, Sirius paces within a small cell, a man condemned, he spots us and stops, clearly stunned. Hermione pushes past us "Alohomora!" Sirius tests the iron door. It was Still locked. Wand flashing, Hermione tries spell after spell. "Dunamis! Liberace! Annihilare!Emancipare! No. No. No. No." the girl was panicking "you might try--" Sirius begins and she shushes him I roll my eyes and move forward drawing my wand "Bombarda!" the cell door flies off "That'll do" Sirius laughs lightly at my actions, we usher him through the halls.

"you really are your father's son!" Sirius pulls Harry into a hug "I'll be forever grateful for this.To the three of you." he smiles at us "I want to go with you." Harry speaks firmly and I look down, he won't be able to. "One day perhaps. For some time...life will be too... unpredictable.Besides, you're meant to be here." he clasps his hand on Harry's shoulder. "But promise me something, Harry." "Anything!" "Trust yourself. No matter thechallenges you face -- and I fearthey will be many -- you'll besurprised how many times you canfind the answers.....here." he taps Harry's chest and the boy nods. Sirius mounts Buckbeat as a shooting star flies by "make a wish" he beams at us.  Black slaps Buckbeak and they soar intothe glittering sky. Harry, Hermione and I stand watching, when the clock begins to chime, we spin around quickly looking at the clocktower.

"We have to go!"
