Draco had begun, yet again, distancing himself from me. He was scared and I didn't blame him, my task was to aid him, whilst his is a lot more complex. He sat quietly his head resting on his hand as we all ate breakfast. His target to annoy me was no longer Pansy (she and Daphne were together) but rather Aurelia. They looked so similar, they could easily pass as relatives. I watched as she ranted excitedly about a new magical creature, Draco, was not paying attention, nodding when necessary.

Blaise dumped a pancake, or ten, on to my place and my eyes moved from the fixation on my ring to his eyes. He shot me a smile "maybe you will grow if we force feed you more" I could swear an Irked mark appeared on my forehead as I glared at him swatting my hand aggressively. "Shove it, Blaise!" I stuck my tongue out and blew him a Rasberry and he only laughed in return.

My eyes moved to Draco who was now staring at me, anger quite visible on his porcelain features. He raised an eyebrow and I rolled my eyes fixing my attention onto Daphne and Pansy who were squabbling like an old married couple. "Have you heard Weasley has been poisoned?" Theodore's words caught my attention and I peered at the boy "has he? is he all right?" I had genuine worry for the boy, he, Harry and Hermione may have treated me rather horribly when they found out what I was, but he never told anyone, nor did the others. Theodore never answered. "Excuse me, if Nott won't tell me I'll find out myself" I smiled at the others and shot Draco a rather harsh glare as I stood away from the bench.

I bustled through the halls and stopped outside the med-bay letting out heavy breaths as I pushed the doors open. Harry, Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall, Ginny and a very sombre Hermione circle Ron's bed as Madam Pomfrey ministers to him. Slughorn sits off to the side, in a chair, looking stunned. "hello, news got around Ron had been in an accident. I wanted to see if he was okay" I tried my best to smile, but instead, a frown came in its place. All eyes shot to me as I fiddled with my robes. Ginny motioned to the spot beside her and I scurried over, staring intently at Ron, whose breathing seemed quite stable.

"Quick thinking on your part, Harry. Using a Bezoar. You must be very proud of your student, eh, Horace?" Dumbledore looked at Slughorn who shakily nodded "Hm? Oh. Yes... very proud." he was quiet, in a state of shock, after all, his potion had done this. "I think we all agree that Mr.Potter's actions were heroic. The question is: Why were they necessary." McGonagall pipes up and all eyes move from me to her I let out a sigh of relief and Ginny smiled at me entangling her hand with my own giving it a reassuring squeeze. I hadn't spoken to her much, but when I did, it was as if we were still best friends, just like we were in the burrow. "Foul Play maybe?" I suggested and Snape shot me a look and I shut up quickly. Eyes moved to Slughorn.  Dumbledore takes the half-empty bottle of mead, still bearing a bit of gift wrap.

"This appears to be a gift, Horace. You don't by chance remember who gave you this bottle, do you --which by the way possesses remarkably subtle hints of liquorice and cherry when not polluted with poison." Dumbledore holds the vile just below his nose. "Actually I had intended to give it as a gift myself." Slughorn was still quiet. "To whom might I ask?" Dumbledore questioned tilting his head as he stared at the potions professor. "You, Headmaster." Just then -- the door bursts open, almost coming off the hinges and incomes Lavender Brown, she was in my divinations class, and now, was Ronald's girlfriend.

"Where is he? Where's my Won-Won! Has he been asking for me?" I gagged at her words her once kind eyes moved to Hermione and she glared at her "What's she doing here?" she spits, if looks could kill, Hermione Jean Granger, would for sure be very dead. "I might ask you the same." Hermione hisses "I happen to be his girlfriend." Lavender retorts, Hermione goes quiet and ponders her next words "I happen to be his... friend" she uttered the last part in disappointment and Ginny and I shared a look.

"Don't make me laugh. You haven't spoken in weeks. I suppose you want to make up with him now that he's suddenly all interesting" Lavender sure did hate Hermione and I wondered why. "He's been poisoned, you daft bimbo! And for the record, I've always found him interesting." Hermione frowns, a bit embarrassed. Ron snorts, stirring. "Ha! See? He senses my presence. I'm here, Won-Won. I'm here --" "Er... My... Nee... Er! My! Nee!" Ron, in a haze, reaches out blindly. Blushing, Hermionetakes his hand. Instantly, he falls unconscious again. Lavender, vibrating with rage, stalks out. "I'll fix that!" I smile lightly "tell Ron I hope he recovers quickly!" I speed out of the room, I hadn't even spoken to him properly in a year and here I was fretting over his health.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy!" I screeched as I barreled through the doors of the room of requirement, his gazed moved from the cabinet to me. He looked like a deer caught in headlights "you absolute Arse!" My steps were loud as I moved quickly towards him, I hit him a rather soft punch to the shoulder "you poisoned Ron Weasley! are you serious?" I push him and he grasps my wrists "it was an accident you idiot!" he hissed his free hand moving to my mouth "this room isn't soundproof!" he scolds and I continue lecturing home my voice barely audible over his hand. "will you stop?" he glared at me and I nodded slowly and he released me "good girl" he smirked and I picked up the object closest to me throwing it at the blonde who has stepped back. "you're still an arse Draco!"
