Royals (Draco Malfoy x Reader)

Chapter 69

Dumbledore was no longer headmaster and the school was filled with chaos. Umbridge was in complete control of the school. I had been asked to join the inquisitorial squad but had simply refused to join along with Aurelia and Daphne. Draco and Pansy jumped at the idea of being able to dock house points, I think maybe Draco has a bit too much power at this stage, a prefect along with an inquisitorial squad member. I was up to my eyeballs trying to balance occlumency lessons and completing my O.W.L exams. I had only done my astronomy practical exam so for, it was rather easy.

My feet carried themselves through the dark halls of Hogwarts a stack of books following behind me, levitating. "Oi! (N/N)" I spun around and there stood the Weasly twins. "Hello!" I smile lightly at the two and they have a wide grin on their face, they're up to no good, I just knew it. "What's your opinion on Umbridge?" Fred spoke moving closer George tailing him. "I hate her, in all honesty, I'm figuring out a way to get her removed from the school" I motion my head to the stack of books beside me and the duo look at each other their grins widening. "what if I said we could get her out?" George wiggled his eyebrows and I let out a delighted laugh "whatever it is... I'm in!" I grin madly.

(Name) sat scribbling answers onto the piece of parchment glancing up at the large clock every so often. 6:23 pm tick, tock, tick, tock. she continued trying to focus on the task at hand answering a few more questions. A loud bang is heard outside and Umbridge stands up walking towards the noise (Name) glances up at the clock 6:25 pm she laughs. The doors swing open and in flys the Weasley twins throwing fireworks into the air. 

"Umbitch!" she calls and the women turn her attention from the fireworks to the girl.  Umbridge was scared of her, knowing, her mother could end her career in mere moments, (Name) had gotten away with everything. (Name) rose from her seat reaching into her pocket and pulling out some green dust,  a wide manic grin on her face. She raises the dust to her face and it flutters towards the women, exploding she let out a laugh and Umbridge begins to scream.  The O.W.L papers fly into the air fluttering around the room and everyone cheers. The (h/c)ette lets out a true laugh pulling a rather large firework from her robe pockets and lighting it sending it off into the roof.

 Cheers and laughter echo through the halls. The twins throw some firework to the sky and it forms into a large dragon, chasing after Umbridge she lets out a shrill scream and began to run away. (Name) looks around her eyes landing on her friends. "Daphne! Pansy! Aurelia!"  she calls waving her hand at the three who begin running towards her. "This isn't very prefect like!" Daphne scolded and Pansy snorted "shut up daph!" she laughed at the blonde. (Name) grasped daphnes wrist "come now!" she chuckled and ran outside with the rest of the students throwing the odd 'devil snap' as they ran.

"Look the best bit is coming up!" (Name) cheered like a happy child on Christmas day. "they could expel you!" Daphne cried and (Name) let out a laugh "as if! Mother can get me out of anything" she winked as the four watched the large 'W' in the sky.

I had gotten an earful from Umbridge and a week of detention from Snape, which wasn't too bad considering the severity of what I had done. I was laid on Pansy's leg as we were all chatting aimlessly. Aurelia and Daphne were painting Pansy's nails a hand each. I let out a yelp, it felt as if my arm had been stabbed, he was calling. I shot up knocking the nail paint and running up the steps to fetch my cloak. bustling back down the stairs. "I have to go!" I yelled leaving the three girls no time to question. The words "Ministry of Magic" echoed through my head over and over and it brought along a rather bad headache. Whatever was happening, it wasn't going to be good.
