Chapter 75

Draco had avoided me like the plague, he would see me with Aurelia and Daphne and run the other way, he had Pansy draped on his arm as he walked through the halls and I scoffed wrapping my scarf tighter around myself as we exited the building the cold winder air ruffling my hair, it most likely wasn't the best idea to wear a skirt on such a cold day. Daphne was complaining about Pansy being a bitch and Aurelia was agreeing, I didn't know what Pansy had done nor did I care, my eyes bore into the back of her head as she snuggled closer to Draco on the walk towards the carriages, he was acting like that kiss, it was a rather large daper on, my mood, but on the positive side, we were finally going to Hogsmeade.

It was absolutely baltic and I was begging Daphne and Aurelia to come to 'the three broomsticks' my arms ached from the large bags of sweets I was carrying. I quickly found a seat near enough the fire, bot the trio and Draco in my eye line, the perfect table. "Two Butterbeers and a double firewhiskey for me please" I sent the waiter a grin and a wink and he flushed red rushing off to get us our drinks. Aurelia let out a snort "Oh Merlin! you have everyone drooling after you!" She slapped my arm lightly and I rolled my eyes. "A double fire whiskey?" Daphne gave me a questioning look and I shrugged "it will keep me warm" I replied quickly as our drinks were placed on the table, I began staring off a Draco, he hadn't spoken to me in a week, rather idiotic if I may say so myself. He shot me a look and mouthed something, I tilted my head lightly and he nudged his head towards the backroom. I finished the firewhiskey in one fail gulp and motioned for another "if you'll excuse me" I spoke as I stood from my chair gliding across the room before disappearing into the back room.

"Malfoy" I nodded curtly acknowledging his presence as he stepped out from behind a few boxes, "I thought we were on a first-name basis (n/n)" he shot me a wink and I rolled my eyes, "say that to Pansy" I shot him a fake smile "what do you want" I continued and h walked towards me "I need you to use the Imperious curse on Madame Rosmerta" he explained and I raised my eyebrow "KMadame Rosmerta?" I was rather confused "why her?" "Rosmerta will give it to Katie Bell, rather innocent don't you think, unsusceptible" I nodded satisfied with his answer. "Fine, is this to do with this your predicament?" "indeed" I glanced around the room "I'm sorry (Name)" his voice was quiet and I walked out.

{Author's POV}

(Name) stalked towards Madame Rosmerta who stood alone, the bar quiet today "Madame!" the (h/c)ette sat at the table "yes?" Rosmerta smiled up at her and (Name) glanced around cautiously "Imperio" the (s/c) girl whispered, Rosmerta went into some kind of trance clinging to (Name)'s every word "you will give this to Katie Bell, tell her to give it to Dumbledore and not to open it" the young girl commanded her elder nodding, (Name) pointed at Katie who was trudging towards the bathroom by her lonesome. 

(Name) moved quickly back to her table picking up the glass of firewhiskey she had left and thrown her head back skulling it. "(Name)?" Aurelia questioned, the girl hummed in response "you okay?" Daphne added and (Name) smiled, one of her rather fake smiles "indeed, I must be off" she threw 4 galleons on the table before exiting the bar, Draco leaving a few minutes after. "we can watch from a distance" (Name)'s voice was cold and Draco was shocked, she usually spoke to him with kindness, even after everything that had happened with her.

The snow falls heavily as they wait for Katie to leave, keeping a distance as (Name) lit a cigarette grasping it nimbly between her fingers "not very ladylike" Draco joked and she just stared at him, not finding him funny, not in the slightest. Katie bell exists and (Name) takes a few quick drags before dropping her cigarette into the snow, the two begin following behind her ensuring not to be seen.  Katie Bell and her friend Leanne stand in the drifting snow, arguing. Katie holds a slender package (Name) crossed er fingers "please don't open it!" she whispered At that very instant, Katie Bell rises six feet into the air. Hair dancing violently in the wind, her face remains eerily placid. Then she lets out a shriek. Harry andRon run towards her and seize her ankles. At their touch, she falls to the snow, thrashing and screaming, eyes rolled up in her skull. (Name) let out a quiet whimper and Draco let out a curse under his breath. 

"I warned her! I warned her not to touch it!" Leanne cried "Harry, she's swallowing her tongue -" Ron panics "I'll get someone --" Hermione turns on her heel about to run away to find an adult "There's no time!" Harry snaps, just then Hagrid appears "get back!" the giant man roars the others instantly obey. Effortlessly, he scoops up Katie's thrashing body and then, as if calming a terrified animal, presses his face close to hers and begins soothing her, until Katie's lids flutter and her body goes limp. "Don' go touchin' tha' but by the wrappings. Unnerstan'?" Hagrid nods darkly to the package in the snow. Harry kneels. Poking through the paper is an Orante necklace. Taking off his scarf he carefully enfolds the package and rises. Then, along with the others, he watches Hagrid lumber off, Katie cradled in his arms. 

Harry looks around and (Name) lets out a quiet gasp as she pulls herself and Draco to the floor "be careful! he almost seen you!" she hissed and Draco nodded, still rather angry his plan had failed, while (Name) was rather angry that he had kissed her and then pretended it didn't happen, but she dared not to speak of her own fury as she watched Draco grumble angrily at the snow.
