I stared at her blankly. "Why-"
"Luke is out of town and you're sober. Please?"
"There's no one else?"
"No." I glared at Piper once more before nodding my head. "She's waiting at the door. Thank you Percy."

I nodded in response and walked through the house to the front door. Annabeth stood there leaning against the wall with a tipsy look in her eyes. I held back a laugh.
"Come on Annabeth let's get you home." She turned to me and blinked a few times. She nodded and walked out the door with me. When she grabbed my arm for support I felt a shock go up my arm. I ignored it and led her to my car. I got her into the passenger seat and buckled her in.

Once we were driving she started to talk. I could hear the slur in her voice. She mumbled about things that didn't make sense and ranted about things she didn't like. I bit my lip to hold in a laugh.
Once we got to the apartment she sat down on the floor and played with her hands.
"Annabeth you know there's a couch." She looked up at me with a confused look.
"Huh?"

I sighed before sitting down in front of her. "Nothing."
"Yeah well it better be nothing." She tried glaring at me but it washed away quickly and was replaced with a giggle. "Your face looks funny."
"Ouch." I joked.
"Ya know what I find stupid? Instax cameras. Why have an expensive camera when you can just have your phone."

I laughed and smiled at her. "Yeah it doesn't make sense." I tried to stand to get her a glass of water but she tugged on my arm.
"Where do you think you're going?" She furrowed her eyebrows.
"I'm getting you water, silly." She let go of my arm and I walked to the kitchen.
"I ain't silly." She mumbled. I got the cup of water and sat down in front of her.
"Here, drink this." She grabbed the cup and took a sip of it.

She wrinkled her nose. "This is so gross. What are you trying to do poison me?"
"Annabeth, its literal water." I stared at her with a smirk.
"Oh ok." She proceeded to chug the rest of the water and set down the cup next to her. She stared at me with a blank look. She grabbed one of my hands and I flinched from the sudden contact. She started fiddling with my fingers and waving around my hand.

"Why your hand built like that though?" She giggled as she shook my hand violently. She snorted and covered her mouth with her hand. I laughed with her and let her play with my hand. She was a whole different person when she was drunk.
After a while her eyes started to get droopy and she yawned. She leaned forward and rested her head on my chest.

"Ready for bed?" She nodded in response. I got up and gently picked her up bridal style. I brought her to her room and laid her in her bed. I tucked her in and started to leave when she grabbed my hand.
"Can you stay?"
"Why?"
"I don't know. Can you?" I nodded and sat down on the floor next to her bed. I leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes. "Give me your hand." She reached forward and grabbed my hand. She held onto it tight and closed her eyes.

I chuckled in response and yawned before closing my eyes.
Before I knew it I was fast asleep.
