For the next few weeks Annabeth and I were practically inseparable. And don't think I didn't like it.
She started going back to work and I tried to as well. Without a doubt, by the end of the day I would miss her. When I'd get home she'd already have a movie picked and blankets ready on the couch.

Every weekend we would go and do something out of the apartment. Sometimes we would go to the beach, other times we would go have dinner, whatever we were feeling in the moment.
With all this time I spent with her my feelings definitely got even more confusing. I didn't know if I just enjoyed her company, or it was something more than that.
I tried not to think too much about it.

Tonight Piper came home exhausted from work so she went to bed early, leaving just me and Annabeth for movie night.
I bundles up in the blankets next to her grabbing the remote and turning on the TV.
"Hey can we do something else?"
I glanced at her and smiled.
"Like what?"
"I don't know. Maybe just relax and listen to music? I don't feel like watching a movie tonight." She fiddled with her hands, eyeing the open sketchbook on the coffee table.

"Yeah that's fine. If you want to draw, then you can draw. I won't stop you." I flashed her a reassuring smile. She returned it and grabbed her sketch book and pencil, and sat right next to me.
As she started to get to work I pulled out my phone and started playing some music.
I bundled up closer to her and watched her draw. I couldn't help but be amazed by her talent. She could probably draw a sketch of someone just by a quick description.

She made bold strokes against the paper and shaded around everything perfectly, making it all look surreal.
I watched as she drew, satisfied by everything she did. She hummed lightly as she put images onto the paper.
Before I knew it she had already been drawing for an hour, while I mindlessly watched her.
She yawned lightly and leaned her head against my shoulder and kept drawing.

"You're amazing." I mumbled as I wrapped my arm around her.
"Whatever Seaweedbrain." She muttered.
"No seriously. Everything about you is perfect." She nodded and cuddled up closer to me. "Wisegirl."
She laughed lightly and soon her strokes became more lazy. I could tell how tired she was. I turned off my music and readjusted to make her more comfortable. I grabbed the pencil and sketchbook out of her hands and set them next to me.

I heard light snoring coming from her. She readjusted and wrapped her arms around my waist. I let out a breathe of content and buried my face into her soft curls. Her hair smelled like fresh lemons.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
I probably knew how I felt about her now. She was probably the best thing to happen to me. I couldn't ask for anyone better. Even if she didn't feel the same way I was grateful for her. I definitely didn't deserve someone like her. If I had to chose the between the world and her, I knew the answer would be her every time.

I smiled one last time and drifted into sleep with three words ringing in my head.
I love you.
