For the next two weeks I tried to make Annabeth as comfortable as I could. I didn't want to let my emotions, whatever they were, get the best of me.
Annabeth started to draw more often than when Luke was around. It seemed to calm her down a lot. Some nights we'd stay in the living room for hours as she would draw.

Other nights after Piper would come home, the three of us would watch movie before bed and enjoy each others company.
I was wanting to get Annabeth outside of the apartment, maybe the beach, she needed some fresh air. I could tell she wanted to get out too.
It was around noon and I was planning on asking her today. I stood in front of her door and put a gentle knock to it. She groaned in response. "Annabeth? Can I come in?"

"Yeah." She said in a groggy voice. I opened the door and smiled as she narrowed her eyes at me. I sat down on the bed next to her.
"Goodmorning." She smiled in response and yawned. "Sorry to wake you."
"Its fine. I needed to wake up anyways."
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm doing ok. What did you need?"
"Uh I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere?"
"Where?"

"Uh maybe the beach? We don't have to swim. Maybe just relax for a while? Get outside?" My voice was an octave higher which I didn't understand. She gave me a skeptical look. "Hey we don't have to. We can just-"
"Percy." She gripped my hand. "I want to go."
"You do?"
"Of course. Lemme just wake up and get ready, then we can go." I nodded and stood walking out the door.

Once we got to the beach she got out of the car and ran to the beach with excitement. She sat in the sand and took a deep breathe as I came up next to her. She grabbed my hand and pulled me down to the sand. We sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes enjoying the beachy air and the hot sun.

"You fucking rat!" I turned to my left seeing two girls. One had short brown hair and blue eyes. She sat on the sand with a furious look on her face, drenched in water. The girl standing in front of her had long wavy brown hair and blue eyes. She had hysterical laughs spilling from her lips as she stared at her friend she just drenched.
"What the fuck, Alyssa!" The girl with short hair grabbed a towel and wrapped herself with it.
"Oh whatever, Tj, it's just water. You're fine." The one named Alyssa sat down with the girl named Tj. They shoved each other playfully and a smirk grew on the drenched girls face.

I glanced back to Annabeth and she had a bright smile on her face.
"Its nice to see more people outside of the apartment."
"Oh yeah cuz I can be so boring." I nudged her arm gently and smirked.
"Whatever, Percy." She looked away and stared at the water.
For the next few hours we hung out at the beach. After swimming for a little bit, we got pretty tired so we decided to head home.
She had a bright smile the whole way home.
Suddenly I felt a rumble in my stomach indicating that I was hungry.
"Do you want to go get food?" I glanced at her.

"Yeah that sounds nice." She stared out the window with a content smile on her face.
I started my way towards a restaurant. It made me happy seeing her so content and relaxed.
As long as she was happy, life was complete.
