A,N: Hello dear readers I am back and ready for updating lol. Just had a week vacation with my boyfriend, haven't seen each other in so long because of the corona, so didn't write at all. So sorry. Or not. Do not regret my decision at all. However, now I am back and ready to finish book 3 off for good. Only 3 chapters to go! Have fun reading.

Yuma's p.o.v.

In the meantime.

"Yuma! Yuma, wake up!".

He could hear a voice say and he groaned slightly, before opening his eyes, finding Astral and Shark beside him. Both of them looked worried at him, while Yuma took in his surroundings. The last thing he remembered was jumping into the ocean after Shark and Rio. There he had been swallowed up by a giant whirlpool of some kind. No wonder he lost consciousness.

"I... I must have dozed off" The lobster haired boy mumbled.

Soon he found white sand in his hand and let out a quick gasp. "Where... where are we?". His eyes gazed around to find something familiar, but all he could see was a white sandy ground and an extremely clear blue sky.

"I am not certain" Astral mused as well "I also lost consciousness when we were drawn into the whirlpool. However, it appears that we are beneath the bottom of the ocean". That made Yuma stare in bewilderment at the sky.

"So, wait, the ocean is like the sky" He uttered in surprise.

"And these footprints..." Shark then stated and pointed at the ground where these footprints were visible. "Rio is here too!".

That of course made the little group determined to find her, as they now followed the footprint in the white sand. Soon they noticed an ancient ruin in the horizon.

"Wow check it out" Shark said as this impressive ruin was in sight.

"Wow that thing is enormous" Yuma uttered stunned as well.

The group of course decided to go in. More because they didn't have a choice, since Rio's footprint led them in here, but what they saw left them in awe for at least a second. Giant walls and damaged blue tiles met their eyes. It was unlike anything they had ever seen.

"What do you think this is?" Yuma then questioned.

"Perhaps this place is a labyrinth?" Astral wondered out loud. Yuma nodded in agreement to that.

It fit the description perfectly. After all his father once told him about a ruined labyrinth. Yuma wondered if this was it. A squeaky sound from a bird could suddenly be heard, and it made Yuma turn instantly towards it. There, underneath it, were two shiny objects stuck in the marble. After a bit of effort, Yuma was soon holding two of his dad's coins in his hands.

"My dad's coins. That means the numbers must be here" Yuma uttered determined.

And with that determination the trio entered the labyrinth in search of Rio and the numbers. They were determined to find both of them.

"Rio has some kind of mysterious power" Shark then told them as they wandered the empty hallways "She can see things you and I can't. Just like before in the airship. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if what she saw let her to this place".

"I wish she could have seen something less spooky" Yuma replied as he shuttered a little.

This labyrinth gave him the creeps. He continued forward with Astral trailing along, and for a while silence were all around them. They just wandered aimlessly through this maze without a goal whatsoever. What they didn't know was that at some point they lost Shark to the endless maze of corridors.
