I walked in only to see.. my dad I was full of so many emotions right now

I don't have time to deal with whatever he has going on I just sighed and dropped my bag by the door took my shoes off and slid on my slippers "what do you want" I said to him

"Now that isn't any way to speak to your father," my mother said finally showing up

" I wouldn't say beating your wife and kids half to death is very fatherly but whatever," I said very nonchalantly

"Again what's do you want I'm busy so if it isn't important or life or death get out and honestly I don't care if it's life or death"

I said wanting both of them to leave but did I think that was going to happen no "well your father and I were thinking-" she went to say but I cut her off

"First of all of it has anything to do with me you can leave because you have no right to think about anything that goes on in my life"

I said well more like yelled

"And you why would bring him to my house how dare you do that without my consent" I said right now I didn't even want her explanation I just wanted them gone mostly him.

"Get out just get out of my house and don't come back unless I tell you that you can,"

I said as I walked over to the door and opened it for them to leave.

My mom grabbed her bag and my father put on his shoes when they were both done they left but before my mom left she said he changed why can't you let go of the past.

After they left I picked my bag up off of the floor and went upstairs to my office,

when I got to my office I took off my coat and put it on the coat rack and walked over to my desk and sat down and started to work.

Shanya pov

Right now it was eight thirty and I was barely finished getting ready

I still had to do my hair and put on my clothes pick out my shoes and i was still doing my makeup.

I was done with my makeup and decided to do my hair before i put on my clothes

I put my hair in a low ponytail which took way longer than it should have

when I was done with my hair I put on my clothes I threw on a black body con dress and paired it with a white bag and some black heels.

When I was done getting ready I walked down stairs and sat my things on my couch before walking over to the big mirror in my living room and after looking at my outfit for the sixth time and making sure I had everything

I called lyna to tell her I was ready to go, "hey girl I'm ready are you"?

I heard her sigh so I know that wasn't good "I'm sorry girl I know this was supposed to be your night but I don't think I can go out right now" she said on the verge of tears "hey what's wrong?,are you okay? You know I'm here if you wanna talk"

I told her I didn't know what was wrong but I knew that something definitely wasn't right " thanks boo do you think I can come stay at your place for a while I just don't feel safe here"

she asked me now sobbing " yea sure you can come over and stay as long as you need"

I said to her lyna has been there for me through alot of my downs so of course I will let her come stay with me especially since she doesn't feel safe

"thank you girl I tell you more when I get there okay" I just hummed and and said okay and that was the end of the call.

I looked in the mirror one last time before I sighed and went back upstairs to take all of this stuff off and get the guest room ready for lyna but before

I got to the steps I heard my doorbell ring I know it wasn't lyna because she lived at least 20 minutes away so who was at my door

I walked over to the little call monitor and looked at who it was and to my surprise it was….
