Our intertwined lives cannot be together,
For we're clearly not meant for each other.
I burn the ballads I wrote just for you,
Leaving me alone in a night so blue.
I can't fathom what your eyes speak to me,
I turn my heels away from destiny,
Thinking with falling I'll just be sorry,
I didn't have the courage to face thee.
When the final days come, I'll be watching
My story, the love without its meaning.
I didn't give it a chance, that feeling,
Now leaving me saturninely yearning.
