DREAMING OF A DREAM

That one fated night I dreamt of us together,
Laughing and talking, smiling sweetly to each other.
With ease, you put your arm around me gently,
With your velvet voice you told me I'm your one and only.
We made our way through the crowd, fingers interlacing.
The spark's alive, I felt your heat radiating.
With your alluring eyes you looked at me, they're dreamy,
You're just gorgeous, You're the one I wish to marry.
The moment my eyes fluttered open and saw reality,
I can't forget the dream I dreamt about you and me.
It still gives me the tingling sensation and felicity,
My heart opened under your presence for you're its key.
However I'm still in a bubble, I'm utterly confounded.
I keep thinking where your heart really stands, with it I'm haunted.
I can't sleep for the mere image of you keeps me all night long,
So I thought of confessing what I feel for you through this poem.
