BLOOM

|12•08•2019|

The breeze carried the hyssop with the mist
Down these crystallized waters where my dreams
Rose up the surface in countless bubbles,
And memories of the past with him faded,
When he turned his back away from my rose,
And my heart sank down the depths of this lake
That once witnessed how easily it breaks.

The lake's surface saw how I fell and broke,
And how the blooms caught my tears as they soaked
The despair it brought upon my delight.
Slowly I now graciously take on flight
With the blooms and my dreams close to my side,
I take back my heart away from the dusk
And live amongst the bright light of the stars.
