CHARMED

The sweet taste of licorice on my tongue
Made me remember your name I once sung.
Along the road with pine trees aligning,
You were there, bright, beautiful and glowing. As butterflies synchronously floated,
My fragile heart can't help but be parted.
You crossed with shattered glass beneath your feet
And in that moment, we're fated to meet. This feeling of gloriousness seems so new,
Primrose and bluebells, all blooming for you.
I'll give you a true promise and the moon,
An amaranthine heart, a lover's tune. But even with all these, you still ignore
What I feel and now my heart breaks once more.
You're the only darkness I once held dear,
Until you left and made your message clear.
