SWEET CHARADES
|11•27•2019|
I want to turn back time, I really do
But I can't for your name is now etched in my heart
And your mellifluous words I always hear
Along with your voice I always keep near.Your presence that greets me weekdays at noon
Never wavers, it only remains around
With an effulgent glow getting stronger
When we're adjacently facing each other.I might be the only one thinking these thoughts
Of you and I singing to one glorious song.
As much as it hurts believing nothing,
I'm still holding on, desperately trying.I'm the only one keeping this going.
It's only going 'round, not getting further.
Games and beguilement like this end bitter
Yet it's the sweet and beautiful charades.
