Unlikely Pairing

Interrogation

(Hawks's P.O.V)

After getting a change of clothes back into my hero outfit, I'm eagerly waiting in the halls of Tartarus Prison for them to let us know when Dabi is finally ready of the interrogation.

"How did your kid land that hard of a hit", asks Endeavor.

"He's been training", I say, "He said that he wanted to learn how to use his power so that he could fly as high and as fast as I do."

"Still", he says, "The boy is only 8 years old if I remember correctly. How intense are the two of you making his training?"

"We're not training him", I say, "He's doing that on his own."

Endeavor then looks at me confused, but, before he can say anything else, the warden comes out and says, "He's ready."

"Ok", I say and we both enter.

Dabi is still knocked out so I splash him with the ice water that was left on the table, "Wake up", I yell at him.

He wakes up and shakes off the water that I just threw at him. "Where am I", he says as he looks around, "Dad?"

"Cut the crap", says Endeavor, "We know that you're perfectly fine."

Dabi lets out a chuckle and says, "I guess I can't get one more by you, huh old man?"

"Hey", I say, "It's me who you should be more worried about. Now where's Nekuro?"

He laughs and says, "You think I would tell you anything?"

"We can make this as simple or as hard as you want", I say, "The fact is that you're telling us." 

"Oh please", he says, "Even if I did know, I wouldn't tell you."

"Don't play dumb", says Endeavor, "We know you have ties to The League of Villains so you should know where they are."

"You really think Shigaraki would trust any of us with the new location after the last Hero raid", he says, "The freak probably wouldn't even trust his own mother."

"Then how the hell do you get in and out", I say.

"As if I would tell you", he says.

"Hawks", says Endeavor as he pulls me to the side, "Maybe it's time we let the kid give it a shot."

"I don't know if he's ready though", I say, "I know his quirk has improved since Nekuro started training him, but I don't know if he'd be able to get Dabi to talk."

"Are we done here yet", says Dabi.

We both ignore him and Endeavor says, "It's worth a shot."

I send Shinso a message and moments later he arrives.

"What the hell is this", says Dabi, "Are you really so desperate that you would get a kid to interrogate me?"

As Endeavor and I step out of the room, I say to Shinso, "He's all yours."

We're now watching and listening into the conversation on the other side of the one way glass.

"Really kid", says Dabi, "If those two so called heroes couldn't get me to talk, what makes you think that you will?"

"Tell me something then", says Shinso, "Why won't you tell us where Nekuro is?"

"As if I'd answer-", Dabi stops mid sentence as Shinso takes control.

"Let's start this simply then", says Shinso, "What is your name."

"Dabi", he says.

"No", says Shinso, "What is your real name?"
