Laura POV:
It was Thursday, 2015, and im just laying on my bed reading a book. What am i doing!? I just finished school, and always said when i was in school, "OH IM TIRED OF READING! I NEVER WANNA READ AGAIN!" And now im here, not in school anymore, Reading a book. Wow. I have to thank those teachers for opening the point of view of what the wordl really thinks of me. Out of nowhere, i heard my parents fighting. They've been fighting alot latley. More than usual.
"LAURA!!" I heard my dad call from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yell back, and walk down the stairs.
Laura wearing a T-shirt thats light blue, and short blue ripped jeans, with coverse, Her hair is loose, and shes wearing one of those little micheal jackson hats but made out of straws. Light makeup as well.
When i arived downstairs, I saw my mom with bags in her hands. I was confused.
"Uh... Yes?" I asked looking confused.
"We're having a divorce. Your moms moving out." he said quickly. I was strocked by those words. Well not shocked because, i knew it was gonna happen at some point. i mean like... You know....
"But why?" I ask.
"Because we're not getting along too well..not anymore..." He said. "I'm sorry Hun. Sometimes love just... Dies...
"Oh..." I said acting like i care. WELL I DO CARE, BUT NOT ABOUT ALL THAT LOVE AND SWEET TALK! I DON'T WANT MY MOM TO MOVE OUT! BUT I JUST CAN'T. LOVE.DOESN'T. EXIST.
"Sorry.. Its for the best.." He says. My mom gives me a long hug, and she waves goodbye. But before that, she places a kiss in her hand, takes my hand, places it back, and closes my hand.Then i placed it in my pocket. After she left, i felt so bad. I felt like my stomach was gonna come out of my butt.
I quickly run back upstairs feeling tears in my eyes. It's so sad letting your mom go. But i know i'm gonna get over this.
