Chapter 18

Erik's POV

When my little sister, Thea, went missing you have no idea how I was feeling. With me being the oldest amongst the four, I am very protective of my siblings, especially Thea; she is our baby girl, I don't even want to know what I'll do if something happened to her.

When she entered the living room, I didn't even think for a second and yelled at her, along with Nate, my youngest brother. Thankfully she forgave us and explained how she went for a walk in the forest and lost the track of time. She has always been fascinated with nature. If given, she'll stay there for few days, she is just that crazy but we love her nonetheless. She has us three brothers wrapped around her little finger and she doesn't even know it, there isn't anything we won't do for her, as long as it doesn't harm her of course.

After settling down, she started to tell us what all she saw in the forest on the walk. She gets this glint in her eyes when she talks about something she loves/likes, it's hard to explain also but what I do know is that I, along with my brothers, would do all we can to keep that spark in her eyes alive, forever.

After talking for a few minutes, Thea asked, "Do you guys know how I got this bump on my head? I can't remember anything after I had eaten my cake. And who changed me?", rubbing the bump on her head.

We thought she must have remembered what happened but she didn't because she still had that cute confused look on her face and when she saw our grinning faces, she groaned and put her head in her hands.

"What did I do this time?"

My brothers and I shared a look and we chuckled quietly.

"Don't worry baby girl, you didn't do anything." Aaron said

"As such" Nate added.

Thea looked up and asked, "Tell me what happened last night."

I nodded to my brothers that I will tell her.

"Ok so after you had your cake, which we didn't see you eating because I was telling your friends about the things you have done when you have sugar rush and others were engrossed in that. You..."

Flashback

I was telling Thea's friends about the time when Thea had ice cream with Aaron, back when he didn't believe us that she gets hyper after having anything sweet; which he did after that incident. I glanced at Thea and noticed that she was staring at the wall and was grinning. I looked at Aaron and Nate in confusion but they looked amused and a little concerned. I raised my eyebrows. Nate nodded towards the empty plate in front of Thea, and then I put the pieces together and understood that she has eaten her cake and was probably planning something.... bad.

Believe it or not, but she is one of the best pranksters I know. And that is exactly what I am worried about. She knows our weaknesses and our strengths so if she is planning any kind of revenge on us for taking her cake before, which she must be; then it's not going to be nice.

Suddenly Thea got up and went out of the living room. Nate was also getting up, probably to follow her but Aaron stopped him.

"It's alright. Let her be." Aaron whispered to Nate. Nate nodded and sat down.

After a few minutes she came back. What Thea did in those few minutes was quite evident. She was now wearing a costume. Not only was she wearing a costume but that too a bear costume. I remember that costume because she insisted on getting a bear one after watching the movie, Ted. As it is, she was/is obsessed with stuff toys but after watching that movie, it became one of her favourites. She says that after wearing that, she can feel how Ted must have felt. I don't even how those two things can relate, but to her they do. Plus, the fact that it is comfy.
