Chapter 32
Thea's POV
The next day
I woke up in the morning, beating my alarm clock and texted Travis to wait for me, deciding to watch the practise today. I got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom. After 20 mins, I was all ready for school and grabbed my bag before heading down for breakfast. Travis was already there in the kitchen along with Erik.
"Morning guys!"
"Morning"
"Morning baby sis."
"Have to go early today, Ric?", I asked, grabbing a plate and getting the food with the most important thing, coffee. I sat on the other side island from Travis and next to Erik.
"Yeah, I have an early meeting, plus I have to look into the school today too. It bugged me all night."
"Sorry for loading this on you Ric."
I feel bad now, my brother already has so much on his plate and my big mouth didn't help.
"No no no Sis. I'm glad you told me. The school is my responsibility too, as are you. I want you to come to me with anything and everything okay? Now stop beating yourself up and finish eating."
"Yes sir", I rolled my eyes but ended up smiling only. Travis chuckled and then we started talking about the movie last night. We didn't finish the series and ended up calling it a night three movies in.
"Thea, shall we?", Travis asked getting up to rinse his plate, seeing as I was done too, I got up too.
"Yep. Let's go."
"You guys are going together today? Isn't it a bit early for you Thi?", Erik asked, raising his eyebrow?
"Yeah, Travis has practice and I'm gonna watch, maybe get some work done."
I went over to him and kissed him on the cheek saying bye before he comments anymore. He yelled a bye, laughing behind us. We went to the garage and got into Travis' car.
"So, your brother....", Travis started chuckling to himself, pulling out on the road.
"Oh, never mind him. He's a dumbo." I rolled my eyes, looking outside.
"Yeah, I guess it'll be a surprise for your brothers to see us actually as you know friends."
"Not really. Don't know about you but I'm a genuinely nice person you know?", I said smirking, looking at his face which had a small grin.
"I meant given our history. I was actually surprised that they were okay with me staying with you guys."
"Well....", I trailed off, not really knowing what to say.
"Kitten?"
"Well, they may...not... know. Like they knew we didn't get along but I never told them the whole thing. Didn't want them beating you up." I said, trying to lighten up.
Travis didn't say anything as we reached the school parking and got out. We were walking towards the field when he said, "I'm still surprised you didn't tell. I know how close you all are."
"Well as I said earlier, I'm a nice person."
He chuckled before saluting and going to the locker room. I made my way to the bleachers and got comfy. Not long after, I saw the guys getting on the field and spotted Tyler and Travis walking together. Travis pointed at me and Tyler walked to me, putting his hand on the fence.
