Allison's Point of View.

I stood in the middle of a graveyard. The air was cold and heavy around me, thick with fog that curled around the crooked gravestones scattered across the dead grass. Everything was silent apart from the distant rustling of wind through the trees.

My breathing slowed as I looked around uneasily. This place looked exactly like the graveyard Harry had described to Ron, Hermione, and me after the dream he had told us about.

A chill crawled down my spine. Slowly, I began walking forward, my boots crunching softly against the frost-covered ground. My eyes landed on one particular tombstone standing taller than the others. Something about it pulled me toward it.

I stopped directly in front of it and brushed my fingers over the cold stone. Then I read the name carved into it. "Tom Riddle," I whispered under my breath.

The moment the name left my lips, footsteps echoed behind me. I spun around quickly, my heart lurching painfully in my chest. Pettigrew stood several feet away from me.

That same twisted, rat-like grin stretched across his face. The exact same grin he had worn when he escaped us last year. But this time, he wasn't looking at me.

He was staring down at something bundled tightly in his arms. The object was wrapped in dark cloth, making it impossible to see clearly what it was, but whatever it was moved weakly beneath the fabric.

Then a voice hissed through the graveyard. "Kill the spare." The voice was cold, high-pitched and unnatural. It made every hair on my body stand on end. I flinched backwards instinctively.

Pettigrew slowly raised his wand. I tried to move. Tried to run. But my feet refused to budge. Fear rooted me to the spot as panic clawed its way up my throat. "Avada Kedavra!"

A flash of blinding green light exploded through the darkness. At the same time, I heard someone scream a name.

Then I shot upright in bed, gasping violently for air. My chest heaved painfully as I looked around the dark dormitory, trying to ground myself back in reality.

Moonlight filtered softly through the windows while the quiet sound of Hermione's breathing filled the room. I pressed a shaky hand against my chest.

The dream again. Ever since the Second Task, it had been the same dream over and over. Always the graveyard. Always Pettigrew. Always that voice.

I let out a slow breath before throwing the covers off myself and climbing out of bed. The cold wooden floorboards creaked softly beneath my feet as I made my way into the bathroom.

I flicked on the light and immediately looked toward the mirror. My reflection stared back at me. Pale skin, tired eyes, messy hair. Nothing looked different.

Nothing ever did. Even after waking from nightmares like this. I sighed quietly before turning away from the mirror and switching on the shower.

As the water heated, I walked back out into the dormitory and grabbed a fresh set of clothes from my trunk. Once I had everything I needed, I returned to the bathroom and shut the door softly behind me.

I slowly changed out of my pyjamas before stepping beneath the warm spray of water. Almost instantly, some of the tension left my body. I tilted my head back, letting the water run through my hair while I tried to clear the lingering images of the dream from my mind.

The graveyard. The green light. The voice. I scrubbed shampoo through my hair and washed quickly, trying not to think about it anymore.

By the time I finished, the water had finally calmed the racing beat of my heart. I turned off the shower and stepped out onto the bathmat, immediately wrapping one towel around my body and another around my damp hair.
