Allison's Point of View.
"So even though Mum already sent a letter to the Dursleys, you still wrote Harry one yourself saying the exact same thing?" I asked Ron after he finished telling me what he did. We were currently hanging out in my and Ginny's room.
Ron nodded proudly. "Yeah. He wrote back saying the Muggles agreed to let him come." Hermione, who had arrived at the Burrow yesterday, smiled from where she sat beside me on the bed.
"So when are you going to pick him up?" she asked. Ron glanced down at the letter in his hands. "Dad's taking us at five this evening." My eyes widened immediately, and I quickly checked the time on my phone. "Okay then," I said slowly. "Who exactly is going with Dad?"
"Me, Fred, George, and Dad," Ron answered casually. Hermione and I exchanged a look. "Why are Fred and George going?" I asked suspiciously. Ron simply shrugged before leaving the room with a grin on his face.
The moment the door shut behind him, I laughed and shook my head. When Hermione stayed quiet, I looked over at her. "What?" She raised an eyebrow at me knowingly.
"How exactly are you planning to act around Harry now that you've admitted you're in love with him?" I nearly choked.
Looking down at the magazine in my lap, I coughed awkwardly. "Well, I have absolutely no idea," I admitted. "I guess we'll figure that out when he gets here."
Time Skip.
"Hey! We're leaving now!" Ron called through the doorway later that evening before disappearing again before either Hermione or me could respond.
"Well, alright then," I muttered, flipping another page in the magazine resting across my knees.
"You know," I said, pointing at a hairstyle in one of the pages, "this would suit you perfectly." Hermione leaned closer to look over my shoulder.
"It's pretty," she admitted, "but my hair could never do that." I shook my head immediately.
"That's the beauty of hair products," I told her confidently. "I remember reading about something that helps with frizz and makes your hair smooth."
Hermione looked at me with interest. "What's it called?" I reached over and grabbed one of my potion books.
"Sleekeazy's Hair Potion," I read aloud. "Apparently, it smooths your hair out and makes it sleek."
Hermione nodded thoughtfully before glancing back at the hairstyle. I quickly snapped a picture of the page and sent it into the group chat Alice had made for all of us.
Then I looked back at Hermione. "You want to head downstairs?" She nodded, and together we gathered the magazines before making our way down the stairs.
"That wasn't funny, Fred!" Dad's voice echoed through the house before Hermione and I entered the room. We looked at each other before walking in.
"I knew there was a reason you two insisted on going," I said immediately, smirking at the twins. Hermione came to stand beside me while Harry turned toward us.
The moment his eyes landed on me, they widened slightly. I smiled at him softly before my eyes moved up to his hair. "Oh, honestly," I sighed dramatically. "What is it with you guys and your hair this year?"
Dad was still glaring at Fred and George. "What exactly did you give that boy?" he demanded. I folded my arms and smirked. "Would it happen to be one of the Ton-Tongue Toffees I saw Fred sneaking into his pocket earlier?"
Fred winked at me, confirming my suspicion instantly. Then he turned back toward Dad. "I didn't give him anything," Fred defended. "I dropped it. It's not my fault he picked it up and ate it."
