Allison's Point of View.

'"Avada Kedavra!" he shouted. A flash of blinding green light exploded across the graveyard. At the same time, someone screamed a name. Then everything went black.

My eyes snapped open. I sat upright in bed, breathing unevenly as I looked around the dark dormitory. Moonlight filtered softly through the windows, casting pale silver across the stone walls.

From across the room, I could see Hermione still fast asleep in her bed, completely unaware of my sudden awakening. I sighed quietly and dragged a hand down my face.

It had been just over sixteen weeks since our meeting with Sirius in Hogsmeade. Even longer since the dreams had started. And every single one was the same.

Pettigrew would emerge from the shadows of some hallway in the graveyard with that horrible grin stretched across his face. Something small and twisted would be wrapped in his arms.

Then came the green light. The scream. And I would wake up before I could see anything else. Every. Single. Time.

I leaned back slightly against the headboard and rubbed the sleep from my eyes, trying to calm my racing thoughts. I was almost certain the thing Pettigrew carried was Voldemort. Or whatever remained of him.

The thought alone made my stomach twist painfully. Careful not to wake Hermione, I slowly pushed the covers off myself and swung my legs over the edge of the bed.

For a few moments, I just sat there in silence, allowing myself time to fully wake up. The castle was still quiet at this hour. No voices. No footsteps. Just silence.

Eventually, I stood and quietly crossed the dormitory toward the bathroom. Once inside, I shut the door softly behind me before turning on the shower. The sound of rushing water immediately filled the room.

While the water warmed, I brushed my teeth and changed out of my pyjamas, tossing them neatly into the laundry basket. Soon enough, steam began curling through the bathroom, and I stepped beneath the warm spray.

I let out a slow breath as the water cascaded down my body, washing away the lingering unease from the dream. For a minute, I simply stood there, letting the warmth wake me properly.

Then I reached for the shampoo and began washing my hair before moving on to the rest of myself. Once I was finished, I turned the water off and stepped out of the shower.

I grabbed two towels, wrapping one securely around my body while using the other to dry my hair. Leaving the bathroom, I padded quietly back across the dormitory toward my trunk.

I crouched down and started sorting through my clothes, trying to decide what to wear. As I searched, my eyes drifted toward the clock sitting near Hermione's bedside table.

6:00 AM — 06/24

I froze for half a second before mentally cheering. The Third Task was today. After tonight, everything would finally be over. No more tasks. No more constant fear hanging over Harry.

No more waiting for something terrible to happen. At least, hopefully. Pushing those thoughts aside, I grabbed my school uniform and laid everything neatly across my bed.

Then, carrying my brush and hair ties, I headed back into the bathroom to get dressed and do my hair.
