Chapter Three - A Old Friend

As the Vytal Festival gets closer and closer, Beacon hosts a dance at Beacon Academy. Team RWBY was charged with preparing the ballroom for the dance. One day, Petro and Katooni decide to go back to the Jedi Cruiser ship in search for supplies for making suits and dresses fit for the occasion. On the way there, Petro talks about the dance. 

Petro: So this dance, huh?

Katooni: It should be an interesting occasion. I don't think we would've had something like that back at the Jedi Temple. 

Petro: Wouldn't that be something.

Katooni: It looks like all the other teams will be attending his dance, including Mordred and his team. 

Upon hearing Mordred's name, Petro became annoyed. 

Petro: Here we go...

Katooni: Mordred's a gentlemen. 

Petro: And a bit condescending with a high and mighty attitude. 

As Petro stated his clear disdain for Mordred, a smile fell on Katooni's face. 

Katooni: Are you jealous? 

Petro: Jealous? Of him! Hell no! What do I have to be jealous of that guy? I can use the Force and I'm way better looking!

Katooni chuckled as she saw Petro blushing with embarrassment. 

Katooni: Don't worry, Petro. I'll be your partner for the dance. 

Petro was stammering through his words trying to say a proper response, but he simply gives up and sighs. 

Petro: I'm so glad the others aren't here to see this....last thing I need right now. 

After a lengthy walk, Petro and Katooni made it to the Jedi Training Cruiser. They haven' been there since they started attending Beacon. Luckily for them, the ship was still in good condition. 

Petro: Good thing Grimm don't like scrap metal, otherwise we'd be in big trouble. 

Katooni: Let's hope we can find some good materials here. 

With that, Petro and Katooni boarded the shuttle and began searching for materials. They found robes that belonged to Jedi Knights who were no doubt this ship's previous owners. They soon began to wonder about them.

Katooni: What do you think happened to them? 

Petro: Maybe they were on a mission and managed to get away. 

Katooni: I...I hope you're right.

Petro soon checked the storage department. As he did, an architect droid fell on Petro. The droid began to whir as it powered up. As it got up, Petro and Katooni were shocked as the recognized the droid. 

Katooni/Petro: PROFESSOR HUYANG?!

As Huyang powered up, he began moving around. When his photoreceptors fell on Katooni and Petro, he was pleasantly surprised. 

Huyang: Petro and Katooni! How wonderful it is to see you again! 

Petro: What are you doing here?!

Huyang: It's quite the long story. After that dreadful business on Florrum, I was transferred to this vessel under the command of Master Cin Drallig and Knight Serra Keto. I was shut down in preparations for a routine inspection. But never mind that, what are you doing here?

It soon became clear to Petro and Katooni that Huyang didn't know what happened. 

Katooni: Professor, do you know what happened to the Jedi Order?

Huyang: Why ask such a silly question? 

Petro: Professor, I don't know how to tell you this, but the Jedi Order's gone. 

Upon hearing this, the architect droid didn't believe it. 

Huyang: Gone? Preposterous! The Jedi Order has stood for over a thousand years! It has endured one Galactic threat after another. 

Katooni: Follow us, Professor. 

Katooni and Petro then led Huyang to the ship's intercom. They then replay the holographic message from Obi-Wan Kenobi. 

Obi-Wan(Holorecording): This is Master Obi Wan Kenobi. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic, have fallen with a dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi. Trust in The Force. Do not return to the Temple...that time has past. And our future is uncertain. We will each be challenged. Our trust. Our faith. Our friendships. But we must persevere. And in time, a new hope will emerge. May the Force be with you, always.

As the message ended, Huyang was in disbelief. He had been in service to the Jedi for thousands of years. He had stood by the Jedi from the wars of Exar Kun to the Jedi Civil Wars all the way to the Clone Wars. To hear that the Jedi Order had been fallen deeply troubled the architect droid. 

Huyang: My word, this is...most troubling. I cannot come with a proper response. 

Petro: No lie, Professor. 

Huyang: Did the others....

Katooni: They made it, Professor. We escaped the Jedi Temple thanks to Knight Keto. Thanks to her, we were able to escape. 

Huyang: I was correct when I said you were the finest Jedi I've ever seen. It's...it's tragic to hear that our great order has been laid down so low. I can't imagine what you all went through.

Petro and Katooni thought about all they had been through. While Katooni was saddened by this, Pero spoke. 

Petro: Everything we went through made us stronger. 

Huyang: I'm glad this dreadful experience hasn't dampened your spirit in the slightest, Petro. 

Petro: We actually came here looking for clothing material. You wouldn't happen to know where that might be, would you?

Huyang: As a matter of fact, I do! 

Huyang then opens a compartment in the storage room where he was stored and took out a box filled with clothing material. 

Huyang: This should suffice! 

Katooni: Thank you, Professor! Follow us! We'll take you to the others.

Huyang: What a splendid idea!

Petro: Just wait till the others get a load of you....

Huyang: Others? What do you mean by others?

Petro: You'll see.

With that, Petro and Katooni had been reunited with Professor Huyang after some time apart. As they took him back to Beacon, Huyang's appearance would no doubt cause a stir in Beacon.
