After leaving the Temple, the Kybuck Clan were still in shock that they had been named Jedi Knights.

Byph: I still can't believe we're Jedi Knights! It's unbelievable!

Petro: I say it's long overdue in my opinion! We earned these!

Katooni: Remember what the Jedi Code said about arrogance....

Petro: I wouldn't call myself arrogant at all! I'm just saying we earned these titles!

Huyang: You make a fair point, young Petro. The only flaw is that it is not official. As far as I know, the Jedi Order never knew of this temple. Meaning that while you may be named as Jedi Knights through that temple, you are not officially Jedi Knights in the eyes of the Order.

Zatt: With all that's happened with the Jedi Order, who exactly can knight us? We don't even know who survived.

That realization brought a sense of sadness to the Kybuck Clan. Despite everything they've achieved, none of that changed the fact that the Jedi Order was gone. Ozpin took the opportunity to ask about the Jedi Order.

Ozpin: What exactly is this Jedi Order?

Huyang: The Jedi Order was an organization who studied the ways of the Force. For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Galaxy.

Ozpin: So you're monks?

Katooni: Peacekeepers are the correct term, Headmaster. It's no different than Beacon or any other Huntsmen Academy.

Ozpin became deeply fascinated by he Jedi. They seemed like the Huntsmen of Remnant, but there was something different.

Ozpin: And why are you here in Remnant? Shouldn't you be with your Jedi Comrades.

Petro: That's because there's no Jedi Order anymore. We were betrayed. All across the Galaxy, Jedi were killed. We managed to survive an attack on the Jedi Temple. We were lucky to get out of that mess alive.

Ozpin was shocked. While he knew that they were hiding from something, he didn't think it was something of this magnitude.

Ozpin: That is...tragic.

Zatt: We don't know how many other Jedi survived. As far as we know, we might be the only Jedi left in the Galaxy.

Ozpin became more and more interested while expressing his condolences.

Ozpin: You have my deepest sympathies. But based on everything I've seen, you've all more than proved your worth time and time again. If anyone is deserving of such titles, it's you.

The Kybuck Clan were moved by Ozpin's words. While they were from separate worlds, Ozpin had welcomed the fugitive Jedi with open arms.

Katooni: Thank you, Headmaster Ozpin. We are forever in your debt.

Ozpin: No debt is necessary, Miss Katooni. All I ask is that you and your friends continue to perform at your absolute best. I want you all to become the very best you can be. I want you to never give up no matter how hopeless it seems.

As Ozpin made his request, the Kybuck Clan looked at each other with smiles on their face. Petro was the first to speak.

Petro: That won't be a problem for us, Headmaster!

Ozpin chuckled. As they got closer to the Bulkhead, Ozpin began to have an idea form in his head. He saw that the Kybuck Clan were skilled and trustworthy.

Ozpin: I must be honest with you, not all is as it seems in Remnant.

Ganodi: What do you mean?

Ozpin: Despite the era of peace we live in, there is some evil on the rise. Something that threatens to throw Remnant into a great darkness.

Upon hearing this, the Kybuck Clan immediately became concerned. Katooni's thoughts fell on the Dark Man. Despite having conquered him in the trials, she knew full well that that Dark Man was out there and he posed a significant threat.

Gungi: <A great darkness? It's just like what Katooni sensed!>

Petro: Easy there, buddy. We don't know that.

Katooni: It's a possibility, but we can't rule it out.

Ozpin: I am not sure what it is you speak of, but whatever darkness you sense, it's here and it's in motion. As of late, Grimm attacks have become far more frequent.

Petro: But aren't those things attracted to negative emotions or something like that?

Ozpin: That is correct. Grimm are mindless creatures hellbent on destruction. But they are merely puppets guided by an invisible hand. I cannot say any more right now. We will discuss this another time.

Katooni: Why us?

Ozpin: Because not only are you skilled and trustworthy, but you are also not of this world. But as I said, we will discuss more of this later. In the meantime, we have much more...pressing matters to attend to.

With that, the Kybuck Clan and Ozpin boarded the Bulkhead and made it's way back to Vale were it was in the midst of a largescale Grimm attack. The Kybuck Clan were quick to aid Team RWBY in it's defenses. It wasn't long until the Grimm were pushed back and Roman Torchwick was apprehended. It seemed like a victory. Meanwhile, Cinder along with her allies watched the unfolding events with great interest. Darth Jadus was among them.

Cinder: All in all, I call today a success.

Emerald: Those stupid kids really made a mess of things.

Darth Jadus: What we've done is more important than you can ever imagine. We have sown terror and fear. You may not see it, but this is a far more glorious victory than you realize.

Mercury: A lot of Faunus didn't make it out the tunnels. You still think the White Fang's gonna listen to us?

???: No, but they'll listen to me.

The White Fang's leader Adam Taurus then reveals himself to the group. Darth Jadus became more interested in Adam than in the others.

Darth Jadus: I have tremendous faith that the White Fang will instill fear and terror on every heart.

With that, Darth Jadus's plan moved as planned. For now, he and Cinder shared a common goal. But for Darth Jadus, all would lead to the democratization of fear.
