At the hideout, Cinder was discussing the plan to infiltrate the CCT Tower. While Cinder and the others were discussing the plan, Darth Jadus and Team SHDW simply watched.

Cinder: Then it is decided. We will make our moving during the Beacon Dance. I will upload the program while you two keep track of who's there.

Mercury: Sounds easy enough.

Emerald: We'll do what we can.

Cinder then turns her eyes to Darth Jadus and Team SHDW. Cinder then approached Darth Jadus and his Hands.

Cinder: Do you have anything to contribute to this plan, Jadus?

Darth Jadus: Your plan is tolerable. I've seen more competent planning from lowly slaves.

Mercury: I didn't hear you throwing any suggestions while Cinder was laying out the plan.

Darth Jadus: Whatever adjustments I'd make to this plan would be insufficient. It is like trying to paint a masterful portrait with inferior tools. No amount of adjustments would make a masterpiece.

Cinder then walked closer to Darth Jadus, causing the members of Team SHDW to reach for their weapons. They were stopped by Mordred.

Cinder: Your pet is wise, Jadus. It seems he has the most sense.

Mordred: I only restrain my team because Lord Jadus desires it. If he were to command us to kill you, we would've already delivered your heads to him.

Emerald: Brave talk, little man.

Circe: Your illusions are laughable, little thief. I could break your mind without as much as breaking a sweat.

Deimos: Shall we kill them, Lord Jadus?

Darth Jadus held out his hand and Team SHDW knelt before him without question. Their unwavering loyalty to the Sith Lord interested Cinder as well as concern her.

Darth Jadus: Killing Salem's slaves will gain us nothing. For now, we will aid them in the execution of their plan. You will all go to the Beacon Dance. You all have your assignments. I trust you will complete them as I have instructed.

Grendel: It will be done, Lord Jadus.

Darth Jadus: Now go from here and return to your duties. Remember that you all walk the path to power and that I am eternal.

Mordred: We are instruments of your will. Through us, the will of Darth Jadus shall be done.

Team SHDW then got up and left the hideout to fulfill their duties. As they left the room, Mercury commented to Emerald about Team SHDW.

Mercury: What a bunch of fucking nutcases.

Emerald: Something's not right with them. They're devoted. Too devoted.

Mercury: As long as they stay out of our way, I don't care what they do. Though if I get five minutes alone with that tattooed bitch, I'll teach her a lesson.

Darth Jadus: You will do no such thing. As the Hands of Jadus, Team SHDW are extensions of my will and power. Unlike you, they are not bound by ego. They are bound only to my will. An act against them is an act against me and an act against me will not go unpunished. Know that my wrath will be unforgiving.

Darth Jadus's calm and threatening voice intimidated Mercury and Emerald. They witnessed time and time again of what the Sith Lord was capable of. Cinder soon spoke to the Sith Lord.

Cinder: As long as they don't compromise this mission, I don't care what they are.

Darth Jadus: Your mission will go undisturbed. They will aid you only because I will it to. When you begin your infiltration of the CCT Tower, you will be aided by one of my Hands.

Cinder made it clear that she didn't trust Jadus or Team SHDW. Darth Jadus could sense her distrust, but showed no concern about it. Meanwhile, Team SHDW left the compound where they spoke to their leader.

Grendel: Working with those fools is beneath us. We should kill them and get it over with.

Mordred: Our orders are clear, Grendel. We must work with them for now. Only when Darth Jadus gives the order will we dispose of Cinder and her allies. But until then, we must tolerate them.

Soon enough, Team SHDW reached the marketplace of Vale. They walked among the people, hiding their true nature in plain sight. Circe then began to wonder about the various teams from Beacon. There was one team in particular that she was curious about.

Circe: What of those Beacon students from before?

Mordred smiles as he remembers his interaction with Katooni and the rest of the Kybuck Clan. He remembered the impression he left on them. He remembered the reactions he got out of Katooni.

Mordred: We'll continue the part as friendly rivals from different academies. If they pose a threat, we will dispose of them promptly. Perhaps they have potential to serve Lord Jadus.

Circe: Are you referring to the whole team or just the girl?

Mordred smirks as Team SHDW continue to walk among the people of Vale.

Mordred: We shall see. Deimos. Do you remember the plan?

Deimos: Yes, Mordred.  I will do my part when the times comes.

Mordred: Good. Lord Jadus will not tolerate failure and neither will I. We will fulfil the orders of Darth Jadus without mistake. The dance will masquerade the operation. As long as we don't draw suspicion, no one will suspect a thing. Now then, let's plan for a dance.

With that, Team SHDW prepared to enact Darth Jadus's will. To the eyes of Vale, Team SHDW were simply another team from Vacuo. But in reality, Team SHDW were loyal followers of Darth Jadus who would obey his every command without hesitation. They were the Hands of Jadus.
