As everyone gathered in the Beacon amphitheater, the Kybuck Clan waited for Ozpin to make his announcement. Glynda Goodwitch soon spoke from the stage.

Glynda: Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin.

As the students begin to quiet down, Ozpin began making his speech.

Ozpin: Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best.

As Ozpin steps away, all the students began to leave the amphitheater to get their missions. When the Kybuck Clan approached the hologram screen, only one mission was available.

Petro: Looks like all the good missions got nabbed.

Katooni: What about this one?

Katooni then points to a mission in the Emerald Forest. It seemed like a simple excavation mission into an ancient temple.

Byph: Seems like the best we're going to get.

Petro: Well we might as well make the best of it.

With that, the Kybuck Clan gathered their equipment. On the way there, Gungi saw Velvet talking to her team and approached her.

Gungi: <Velvet! Professor Huyang told me about what happened! Are you okay?>

Velvet: I'm...I'm okay, Gungi.

Gungi glanced over to Cardin and clenched his fists. As he was about to approach him, Velvet grabbed his arm.

Velvet: P...please, Gungi. I don't want you to get into any trouble on my account.

Gungi: <But...but it isn't right! You shouldn't have to endure such treatment for something out of your control!>

Velvet smiled as she placed her hand on Gungi's cheek.

Velvet: You're very sweet, Gungi. But I have my team to help me.

Gungi glared over to Cardin. He wanted to attack Cardin, but hearing Velvet's voice seemed to soothe him. She then kissed Gungi on the cheek, making him blush underneath his fur. As Velvet and her team left, Gungi was processing what had just happened. Soon enough, the Kybuck Clan made their way to the airship to the Emerald Forest, Ozpin was waiting for them.

Katooni: Headmaster Ozpin? What are you doing here?

Ozpin: Kybuck Clan. You're right on time. As you may know, an temple was found deep within the Emerald Forest. It's a curious looking temple.

Zatt: Why isn't Doctor Oobleck on this mission? This really seems like something he would do.

Ozpin: He is currently on a mission with Team RWBY. I decided to take on this mission as a favor. All attempts to access the temple has been...unsuccessful.

Ozpin then shows a holographic image of the temple in question. There was something about the temple's architecture that seemed familiar.

Ozpin: That is why I will be shadowing you on this mission. Professor Huyang will be accompanying us as well.

Petro: You want all of us to help you get inside some old temple? Seems like overkill to me.

As soon as Petro said that, Katooni elbowed him in the side.

Petro: Ow!

Katooni: We're more than happy to help you, Professor Ozpin.

Ozpin: I will tell you the same thing I told Team RWBY. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times, and do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck.

Petro: This'll be a walk in the park, Professor!

Ozpin: Your confidence is noted, Mr. Petro. I hope we can unearth the mysteries of this temple. I am most curious as to what's inside.

Soon enough, Professor Huyang meets up with the Kybuck Clan and Ozpin.

Ozpin: Professor Huyang. A pleasure of you to join us.

Huyang: I have gathered all my equipment. Are we ready to proceed?

Ganodi: Just about.

Ozpin: Very good. Now let's get moving.

With that, the Kybuck Clan along with Huyang and Ozpin boarded the airship en route to the Emerald Forest. What they didn't know was that the ancient temple would hold many secrets from a bygone era. These secrets would leave a profound effect on the Jedi Younglings.
