The Kybuck Clan Volume II (RWBY X Star Wars)

Chapter Four - Reunion

After reuniting with Professor Huyang, Katooni and Petro took him back to Beacon where they told him about all that had happened to them since Order 66, including keeping their Jedi identities a secret. The Jedi Architect Droid was both astounded and proud at how the Jedi Younglings were able to bounce back from such an ordeal. 

Huyang: Astounding....

Petro: But like we said, we're keeping our Jedi identities a secret. 

Katooni: The other students can't know....unless we feel it's necessary. 

Huyang: You need not worry about me. I will keep your secret as if my life depended on it!

As Katooni and Petro walked back to their Dorm with Professor Huyang, they noticed that the school was empty. 

Petro: Looks like everyone bounced to the city to get some stuff for the dance. 

Soon enough, Katooni and Petro made their way back to the Dorm room where the rest of the Kybuck Clan was. Professor Huyang waited outside while Katooni and Petro spoke with the rest of the Kybuck Clan. 

Zatt: Did you find the things we need?

Petro: That and more.

Zatt: What are you talking about?

Petro: Turns out that training cruiser we had had more stuff in there than we realized. 

Ganodi: I'm seriously confused. 

Katooni: I think you should see for yourself. 

Petro gave a whistle. As soon as he did, Professor Huyang walked into the room. As Huyang greeted the rest of the Kybuck Clan, they were shocked beyond belief. Katooni and Petro completely understood this reaction. Ganodi rushed over to Huyang with tears in her eyes. She then hugged the Droid. 

Byph: You're....you're here! 

Gungi: <How did this happen?! We thought you were destroyed during Order 66!>

Huyang: I was not involved in that ghastly affair. I was shut down in the cargo hold of the ship awaiting a system diagnostics when it happened. I was completely unaware of what had happened until Katooni and Petro informed me of this. 

Ganodi: I'm just glad you're here!

Huyang was moved by the Rodian's kind words. He remembered how Ganodi was first doubtful of his ability to teach due to him being a Droid. Since then, Huyang became like a father figure to the Kybuck Clan, especially Ganodi. 

Huyang: To see you all alive and well brings joy to my behavior core. 

Katooni: We'll all happy to see you, Professor Huyang.

Huyang: I have already been informed of your...present circumstances. Beacon Academy seems like a fine institution! 

As Huyang marveled at Beacon Academy, Ruby and Weiss entered the Dorm room of the Kybuck Clan. Weiss was the first to see Huyang, but Ruby was at first oblivious to it. 

Ruby: Hey guys! Did you find the material you're looking for? I was hoping to ask if you had some spare....

Ruby quickly noticed Huyang's presence and her jaw dropped in shock as she began to stutter around her words. 

Huyang: Why hello! You must be Miss Rose and Miss Schnee! A pleasure to make your acquaintance! I am Professor Huyang! 

Ruby and Weiss were stunned into silence. They didn't know what to say. As they were mentally processing this, Yang and Blake caught up with Ruby and Weiss. They quickly noticed the silence of Ruby and Weiss as well as the presence of Huyang. The silence was soon broken by Ruby who lets out a scared scream. 

Ruby: ROBOT! KILLER ROBOT! 

 Huyang: Killer robot?! How absurd! 

Weiss: What in Oum is that thing?! 

Ruby immediately rushed for Crescent Rose, but Katooni and Petro rushed in to stop her.

Petro: Ruby wait! He's not a killer robot! He's a friend!

Weiss: You're friends with a machine?!

Huyang: I am no mere machine!

Yang: Well that's not something you see everyday. 

Blake: You're not wrong about that....

Soon enough, Beacon professor Bartholomew Oobleck arrived to investigate the screams. 

Oobleck: What is going on here?!

Oobleck's attention soon fell on Huyang. While it seemed he would have the same reaction as everyone else, he calmly approached Huyang. 

Huyang: Apologies for the disturbance! Allow me to introduce myself, Professor Huyang at your service!

Oobleck: A professor, you say? Students? Might I have a word with this professor in private? 

With that, the Kybuck Clan and Team RWBY exited the Dorm room to give Oobleck and Huyang privacy. As Oobleck and Huyang spoke, Team RWBY began to question the Kybuck Clan about Huyang. 

Weiss: Care to explain what was that?

Petro: It's a long story....

Ruby: When did you have a robot?!

Katooni: He's not ours. We don't own him. He was our teacher. 

Ruby: Oh! From that private school? 

Petro: Exactly! 

The rest of the Kybuck Clan was confused at this, but they ran along with it. 

Blake: So you all went to a private school with robots as teachers?

Before anyone could answer, loud laughter was heard from inside the room. The door soon opened with Oobleck and Huyang leaving the room.

Huyang: Oh you are a delight, Doctor Oobleck!

Oobleck: Likewise, Professor Huyang! 

Ganodi: What happened in there?

Huyang: We were discussing my arrival and we soon began to talk history. It was a most splendid conversation!

Oobleck: We should continue this conversation another time! In the meantime, Headmaster Ozpin wishes to see you and your delightful mechanical friend. 

Petro: Uh....sure? 

Oobleck: Now I'm afraid I must be going. I have papers to grade! 

As Oobleck left the area, Team RWBY left to continue preparing for the dance. The Kybuck Clan along with Professor Huyang began making their way to Ozpin's office to discuss Huyang. As Petro predicted, Huyang's arrival at Beacon Academy had caused quite a stir
