On the morning after the Beacon Dance, Katooni and Petro along with Ruby were summoned to Ozpin's office to discuss the incident during the dance. In the room with Ozpin was Glynda Goodwitch and Atlas General James Ironwood.
Ruby: Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here. It wasn't me.
Petro simply gave Ruby an annoyed look while Katooni simply chuckled. After taking a sip from his coffee mug, Ozpin spoke with the students.
Ozpin: Thank you all for coming. How do you feel?
Ruby: Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three.
At this point, the adults in the room simply stared in silent. Petro rolled his eyes.
Petro: Okay, so that's the tone we're going for, got it.
Ironwood: I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night is exactly what being Huntsmen and Huntresses are all about. You all recognized a threat. You took action. And you did the very best you could.
Katooni: I only wished we could've done more.
Ozpin: Now, the general here has already informed us of the events that...transpired last night, but now that you've rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add.
Glynda: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?
Ruby then began trying to remember about the disguised Cinder, but she couldn't see her face behind the mask.
Ruby: I...I don't know. She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to me. But I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her Semblance, though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked.
At that point, both Petro and Katooni remembered about a woman in a red dress that aided in Roman Torchwick's escape on the night of the Dust Shop robbery.
Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby.
Ironwood: Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone.
Ruby: Wait. You think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?
Ozpin: It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together.
Ruby: Actually, I... I think I remember her saying something about a hideout, or something, in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom.
Upon hearing this, Ozpin became interested.
Ozpin: Interesting. Petro. Katooni. What of the masked man you encounter? Did he seem familiar to you?
Katooni: No, sir. We couldn't see his face behind the mask.
Petro: Not to mention that he was pretty fast without the jetpack.
Ironwood: I took the liberty of running inspections of our armories. No weapons were stolen, but one of our Atlesian Jumptrooper's jetpack was stolen a few days before the dance.
Katooni: Were you able to find a trail?
Glynda: I'm afraid not. It would seem that both of our intruders left nothing behind that we can track. It's as if they vanished into thin air.
Upon hearing this, Katooni and Petro as well as Ruby were deeply concerned about this.
Ozpin: Thank you for your cooperation. Why don't you go and spend some time with your team? You have a big day ahead of you.
With that, Katooni and Petro along with Ruby left Ozpin's office. At the Kybuck Clan's Dorm, the Jedi Younglings discussed what happened at the meeting.
Ganodi: They really didn't find a trace?
Petro: Pretty much. They had as much luck finding them as we did catching them.
Zatt: They had to have had some serious training if they could pull off something like this.
Katooni: I think the woman Ruby encountered might be the woman in the red dress that Petro and I encountered at the Dust Shop robbery.
As Katooni recounted this event to everyone, Professor Huyang entered the room.
Ganodi: Professor! How was tutoring?
Huyang: It was quite an eventful occasion! I helped Miss Scarlatina and Miss Adel on mathematics while proving some scientific insight to Miss Valkyrie. Then I had a most dreadful encounter with that dreadful Mr. Winchester!
Petro: Sounds about right. That guy always was full of himself.
Byph: What happened?
Huyang: While I was tutoring Miss Scarlatina, Mr. Winchester began pulling on her rabbit ears.
Upon hearing this, Gungi began infuriated.
Gungi: <What?! He hurt Velvet?!>
Huyang: Before I could react, Miss Adel attempted to attack Mr. Winchester. I was able to calm things down, but I had to end the tutoring session early.
Petro: You should've called us, Professor. Cardin clearly needs a lesson and I'm happy to give it. I know Gungi definitely wants to.
Huyang: I do appreciate the....assistance, but I doubt it would've sit well within the schoolboard. Though Cardin will be facing disciplinary charges for this incident.
Gungi then clenched his fists in anger at hearing that Cardin had harmed Velvet. Despite his anger, Gungi remembered the Jedi Code and calmed himself down.
Gungi: <Is Velvet okay?>
Huyang: Miss Scarlatina is quite all right. There were no major physical injuries. It is most fortunate that Miss Scarlatina has a supportive team beside her.
Gungi: <We should visit Velvet to see how she's feeling!>
Byph: That's a great idea!
Before any moves could be made, an announcement by Glynda Goodwitch was made on the intercom.
Glynda(Intercom): Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater?
As the announcement was made, all plans would be postponed.
Huyang: Go on, Kybuck Clan. I imagine that whatever is going on at the amphitheater will be important.
With that, the Kybuck Clan gathered their equipment and left the Dorms to make their way to the Beacon amphitheater and prepare for whatever assignment Glynda had for them.
