The Kybuck Clan Volume II (RWBY X Star Wars)

Chapter Seventeen - Knighthood

The Kybuck Clan had reached the end of the road. They were physically and mentally exhausted. They had faced one grueling test after another in their trials. Katooni was still in shock by the power she had just displayed. As they walked through the hidden door, they entered into an inner sanctum with six seats. Suddenly, the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi projected from the seats. 

Meetra Surik(Holoprojection): You have all done well to get this far. 

Atton Rand(Holoprojection): You have proven your resolve and your faith in the Force. 

Visas Marr(Holoprojection): You followed the will of the Force and it served you well as you have served the Force. 

Brianna(Holoprojection): You have overcome the challenges that came your way. 

Mical(Holoprojection): You let go of your fear and doubt. 

Bao-Dur(Holoprojection): You have shown us that you are indeed worthy. 

The Kybuck Clan were in shock. They couldn't believe that they had passed the trials of the temple. They were overcome with shock and joy. But one lingering doubt remained in their minds.

Katooni: You said we're worthy. Worthy of what?

Meetra Surik(Holoprojection): Step forward, initiates.

The Kybuck Clan then approached the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi. Katooni stood before Meetra Surik. Petro stood before Atton Rand. Zatt stood before Bao-Dur. Ganodi stood before Mical. Gungi stood before Brianna. Byph stood before Visas Marr. As the Kybuck Clan knelt before the Lost Jedi, the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi ignited their Lightsabers. They then lowered their Lightsabers just above each of their shoulders

The Lost Jedi(Holoprojection): We are all Jedi. The Force speaks through us. Through our actions, the Force proclaims itself and what is real. Today we are here to acknowledge what the Force has proclaimed. By the right of the Jedi, by the will of the Force, we dub thee, Knights of the Jedi Order.

As the Lost Jedi spoke the words, the Kybuck Clan collectively felt a series of emotions running through their mind. Since surviving Order 66, they never imagined that they would become Jedi Knights, especially at their young age. 

The Lost Jedi(Holoprojection): Rise. 

The Kybuck Clan then rose, no longer Younglings. In the eyes of the Lost Jedi, they were now Jedi Knights. 

Meetra Surik(Holoprojection): May the Force be with you. 

With that, the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi vanished. The Kybuck Clan took a moment to process what had just happened. 

Ganodi: Jedi Knights....I can't believe it!

Petro: I always knew we would become Jedi Knights, but I didn't think it would be this soon.....

Gungi: <We didn't even have to become Padawans! How is this possible?!>

Zatt: Guess this means we passed the trials.

Katooni: We...we should probably head back. Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Huyang are probably wondering where we are. 

With that, the Kybuck Clan left the hidden room and retraced their steps. They soon made their way back to where Ozpin and Huyang were. 

Huyang: There you are! I knew you would return! What did you find?

Petro: According to the Lost Jedi, we're now Jedi Knights. 

Ozpin: Jedi Knights? Hhm...

At this point, Petro began to have questions about Ozpin. Soon enough, Petro then approached Ozpin. 

Petro: You're a Jedi, are you?

Ozpin: Ah. Is that what you think?

Petro: It's clear you knew something about this temple. You wanted us to complete these trials and become Jedi Knights.

Ozpin: I'm afraid I'm no Jedi. I'm just a headmaster. I know nothing about these Jedi. 

Petro: I think you're lying. Why else would you bring us here?

Ozpin chuckled while the Kybuck Clan were confused at Petro's accusations. 

Ozpin: I brought you all here because it's clear that this...temple is not of this world. I believe you were meant to uncover this temple's secrets. With that being said, I'm no Jedi. 

Huyang: I'm afraid he's right, young Petro. My databanks contain the record of every Jedi that has ever joined the Order. Ozpin however is not in my databanks. 

With that, the theory of Ozpin possibly being a Jedi was quickly shot down. Soon enough, another possible issue was brought up. 

Ganodi: What about the temple? 

Ozpin: What about it?

Ganodi: Are...are people gonna know about this?

Upon hearing that question, the Kybuck Clan grew concerned about the consequences about this temple being known. They all feared the possibility of the Empire possibly finding out about the temple and arrive on Remnant to enslave it. Ozpin could tell that the Kybuck Clan were concerned. 

Ozpin: It is quite unfortunate that were were unable to find a way into the temple. A shame really. I'm sure Doctor Oobleck would be very disappointed. I'm afraid we'll never know the true mysteries that lay within this temple. 

With that, Ozpin made it very clear to the Kybuck Clan that he intended to keep the true nature of this temple a secret. Soon enough, Ozpin along with the Kybuck Clan and Huyang left the temple. As soon as they did, the doors of the temple were sealed. 

Petro: Guess there's no turning back. 

Ozpin: Let's go. 

Katooni: I'll catch up. I need to talk with Professr Huyang. 

As Ozpin and the others went ahead, Katooni spoke with Huyang about the lightning she shot from her fingers. As soon as she did, Huyang asked Katooni a question. 

Huyang: Tell me, did you feel fear or anger when using it?

Katooni: I...I don't think so. 

Huyang: Hmm...I believe you may have used Force Judgement.

Katooni: Force Judgement?

Huyang: A Light Side variation of Force Lightning used by the Sith. Master Plo Koon utilized this. 

Katooni: T...thank you, Professor Huyang. 

Katooni and Huyang then joined up with the others and made their way back to the Bulkhead. The Kybuck Clan entered the temple as Younglings. They left it as Jedi Knights.
