As the Kybuck Clan continued their trials, Professor Huyang and Ozpin patiently waited for them to return. Despite their concerns for their safety, both had tremendous faith in their students. Meanwhile, the Kybuck Clan continued walking through the corridors. They prepared themselves both physically and mentally for the remaining test. Soon enough, they came across a blind old woman wearing Jedi Robes. Sensing a trap, the Kybuck Clan slowly approached the woman.

Old Woman: I knew you would come. It was only a matter of time.

Katooni: Who are you?

Old Woman: I was known by many names. You may call me Kreia.

Petro: Why are you here?

Kreia: I am here to guide all Jedi Padawans on their trials. You have endured much to have made it this far. I can feel your fear and uncertainties.

Zatt: Will you let us pass?

Kreia was silent for a moment. Kreia's silence deeply concerned the Kybuck Clan. Petro kept his hand on his Lightsaber in case Kreia attacked. Soon enough, Kreia spoke.

Kreia: To pass the trials, you must make a great sacrifice.

Ganodi: What kind of sacrifice?

Kreia: One of you must die.

Upon hearing this, the Kybuck Clan were shocked beyond words. Kreia however showed no emotion.

Gungi: <One of us has to die?! That's not right!>

Kreia: Sacrifices like these are what built our order. Sacrifice the weakest among you to grow stronger. Sacrifice the strongest to inherit their power. Who you chose to sacrifice is up to you. The choice is yours.

As Kreia laid out the task, the Kybuck Clan looked at one another, not sure what to do.

Byph: This is crazy! We....we can't make this call!

Gungi: <But if what Kreia says is true, then we don't finish the trials!>

As the Kybuck Clan began to break down, Katooni approached Kreia.

Katooni: What if we refuse to make the sacrifice?

Kreia: Then you will all die. If one cannot make a sacrifice, then they are unworthy of becoming Jedi. The Force is like a cloud, a mist that drifts from living creature to creature, set in motion by currents and eddies. It is the eye of the storm, the passions of all living things turned into energy, into a chorus. It is the rising swell at the end of life, the promise of new territories and new blood, the call of new mysteries in the dark.

Katooni looked upon the Kybuck Clan as they tried to ponder what to do next.

Petro: Why do I get the feeling that our....older selves would've already made this decision already?

Ganodi: What are we going to do?! We can't just kill off one of us! That...that isn't right!

Petro: Calm down, Ganodi! No one is sacrificing anyone! The old woman is full of crap!

Byph: But what if what she's saying is true?! We might die in here!

Zatt: Seems like an unwinnable situation.

Ganodi: Zatt! Don't tell me you're agreeing with this!

Zatt: I'm not saying that at all Ganodi. I'm just saying that we're in a real bad situation. If we end up....sacrificing one of us, then that last test we saw might as well be our future. If we refuse, then we could very well die here.

It was clear that the Kybuck Clan were caught in a moral dilemma. It seemed as if they were forced to either sacrifice one of them or be wiped out.

Kreia: From such small things, from such critical points, the universe and its masses may be moved...that is why you must be careful in all that you do, and in every choice you make.

At this point, Katooni could see that the decision threatened to tear the Kybuck Clan apart. Ever since she survived Order 66, Katooni promised herself that she would protect her friends no matter the cost.

Katooni: I...I can't allow anyone of you to be sacrificed. I won't sacrifice you nor will I ask any of you to be sacrificed!

One by one, the rest of the Kybuck Clan rallied behind Katooni's decision. They all refused to sacrifice one of their own.

Kreia: Have you made your choice?

Katooni: Yes. We will not sacrifice one of our own.

Kreia: Did you not hear my warning? By refusing to make this sacrifice, you prove yourselves unworthy of the Force. If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the Galaxy, you will only weaken yourself...and weaken them. It is the internal struggles, when fought and won on their own, that yield the strongest rewards. Instead, you simply did not learn the lesson I sought to teach. That your strength is as meaningless as the strength of my hand.

Petro: We'll take our chances. Just so you know, we won't go down so easily!

As Kreia got up, the Kybuck Clan readied their Lightsabers. They expected an intense fight with Kreia. Despite her frail appearance, they wouldn't underestimate her. Instead of attacking them, Kreia simply chuckled.

Kreia: Perhaps you were expecting some surprise, for me to reveal a secret that had eluded you, something that would change your perspective of events, shatter you to your core. There is no great revelation, no great secret. There is only you. There is only the Force. Your faith in one another remains strong. Even in the face of death, you still stand by each other. The Force is strong with you indeed.

With that, the form of Kreia vanished. It was clear now that this was yet another test in their trials. With another test passed, the Kybuck Clan continued on with their trials, not knowing what is to come.
