The Kybuck Clan Volume II (RWBY X Star Wars)

Chapter Eleven - The Temple

After a brief journey, the airship dropped off the Kybuck Clan along with Huyang and Ozpin on a pathway that led directly to the site of the ancient temple. As they walked, Katooni and Petro took this opportunity to talk to Ozpin.

Petro: So why haven't you told anyone about us?

Ozpin: Whatever do you mean, Mr. Petro?

Katooni: You clearly you know that we're not from this world, yet you haven't told anyone. 

Ozpin smirked at Katooni's question. 

Ozpin: Because I respect the nature of privacy among my students. As a Headmaster, it is not my place to reveal the private information of my students under any circumstances. Though on a personal note, I am rather curious about you all. 

Zatt: So that's why you had us enrolled at Beacon? 

Ozpin: Something like that. I saw potential in you. As a Headmaster, my task is to see that potential realized. 

Ganodi: But what does that have to do with you knowing we're not from this world?

Ozpin: That's the question, is it? The truth is quite simple, Miss Ganodi. The truth is that this world is complicated. 

Ozpin's response left the Kybuck Clan with more questions than answers. Soon enough, they reached the entrance to the ancient temple. As the Kybuck Clan reached the temple, a strong presence began to take hold of them. Katooni felt it the most. 

Katooni: Do you guys feel it?

Petro: Yeah.....I felt it. I think we all do. 

It was clear that there was a strong connection to the Force within this temple. Ozpin looked upon the door with great interest. 

Ozpin: It seems Oobleck was not exaggerating about the impressive architecure of this temple. How curious. 

Huyang: Perhaps you should all use your...Semblance to open the door. 

Byph: I guess it's worth a shot. 

Heeding their professor's words, the Kybuck Clan closed their eyes and reached out with the Force to open the door. As the door slowly opened, Ozpin became even more interested. 

Ozpin: Fascinating. What a whole excavation crew failed to do in hours, you managed to do in so in a brief moments. 

With that, the Kybuck Clan along with Huyang and Ozpin entered the temple. As they entered the temple, the Kybuck Clan  quickly noticed that the temple bore a strong resemblance to the Jedi Temple back on Coruscant. 

Byph: It's...it's just like the temple back on Coruscant. 

At that point, they all remembered the last time they were on Coruscant. The last time they were on the Jedi Temple was the day everything changed. Suddenly, the holographic images of six Jedi appeared. One was a human male woman. Two were human males with one having blond hair while the other had dark brown hair. Another was a Miraluka woman while another was an Echani/Human hybrid. The last was an Iridonian Zabrak male. 

Female Jedi(Holoprojection): Welcome, Jedi. I am Meetra Surik. Welcome to your final trials. Allow us to introduce oursevles. 

Brown Haired Jedi(Holoprojection): I am Atton Rand. 

Blond Haired Jedi(Holoprojection): I am Mical.

Iridonian Zabrak Jedi(Holoprojection): I am Bao-Dur. 

Echani/Human Jedi(Holoprojection): I am Brianna.

Miraluka Jedi(Holoprojection): I am Visas Marr

The Kybuck Clan were shocked to see the holographic projections of Jedi Masters in a temple on Remnant. Professor Huyang lets out a hearty laugh. 

Huyang: By the Maker! This is an extraordinary find! This is an enclave of the Lost Jedi!

Gungi: <Lost Jedi?>

Huyang: Exiled Jedi from both the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War during the age of the Old Republic. They were instrumental in rebuilding the Jedi Order after the Jedi were nearly drove into extinction by the Sith during the great Jedi Purge!

Ganodi: Are you serious?! What's a Jedi Temple doing here on Remnant?!

Huyang: I'm not quite sure. There's nothing in my databanks about this temple. This must've been constructed immediately after the fall of the Sith Triumvirate. All records of that era were...sporadic.

Ozpin looked upon this with deep interest. The technology of this temple was lightyears ahead of anything on Remnant. Soon enough, the holoprojections of the Jedi spoke of the temple. 

Meetra Surik(Holoprojection): Inside this temple lies the trials. 

Atton Rand(Holoprojection): These trials will test your resolve in both yourselves and the Force. 

Visas Marr(Holoprojection): The Force has guided you to this point. Your path has brought you here. 

Brianna(Holoprojection): The challenges you face will help you confront your fears. 

Mical(Holoprojection): The face in the mirror. The fear in your hearts.

Bao-Dur(Holoprojection): Only by trusting in the Force will you find inner peace.

As the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi spoke, the Kybuck Clan were at a loss of words. They had no idea what to say or feel about this.

Meetra Surik(Holoprojection): The choice is yours, Jedi. The trials await. 

With that, the holoprojections of the Lost Jedi dissipated. The Kybuck Clan were left absoultely speechless. The silence was broken by Huyang. 

Huyang: I believe you must face these trials. 

Ganodi: But how?! We're only Younglings! We've never even had Masters!

Huyang: That may be true, but I believe you more than ready for the trials. 

Ozpin: I must concur with Professor Huyang. While I am unfamiliar with the nature of the Jedi, I believe you more than capable of facing these trials. 

With that, the Kybuck Clan looked upon the corridors of the temple. Within these corridors lies the trials. Katooni took a deep breath and started walking. 

Katooni: Well what are we waiting for? Let's see what these trials have in store for us. 

Petro: You heard her guys! Let's go!

With that, the Kybuck Clan began walking towards the corridors to face the trials of the Lost Jedi. The trials would put their faith in the Force and each other to the test.
