JENNIE'S POV

I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I was elated. I felt like I was on cloud nine. It still hadn't sunk in that Lisa and I were finally together.

She told me that she wanted to drive me to and from uni, but I told her it was more logical for me to be the one to do that, considering the fact that her loft was closer to the university. To also avoid risking my parents questioning why she would drive me, I insisted on driving us instead.

I did my morning routine faster than usual. Excitement rushed through my body, knowing that I was about to see her in a while. My first girlfriend. I couldn't wrap my head around it in the best possible way. It was so surreal and unbelievable to me, that I was in a relationship with the only person I had feelings for; that the person I liked, liked me back.

As soon as I finished getting ready, I drove to her loft. I pulled up at the entrance and found her standing outside with two cups of coffee in her hands. I opened the door for her from the inside and she got in.

"Good morning, beautiful." She placed the cups on the holders and leaned in to give me a chaste kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning." I gave her my biggest gummy smile before driving out of the lot. We were in a comfortable silence the whole ride, just enjoying each other's presence. Once in a while, I would feel her stealing glances so I would look back at her and smile. I couldn't keep my lips from curving upwards since the day we became official.

After a few minutes, I parked at my usual spot and before I could even turn the engine off, Lisa was already out of the car and standing outside my door. We walked to our building side by side, with our arms brushing against each other's and our lips grinning from ear to ear.

The moment we entered the classroom, Jisoo and Chaeyoung whipped their heads towards us with expectant looks on their faces. We were yet to tell them of the recent development in our relationship, but I think by how giddy Lisa and I looked, they can sense something good happened.

We sat at our respective seats without minding the two and I brought out my notebook from my bag. They didn't get a chance to question us as the professor entered the room.

After our morning classes, the four of us headed straight to the cafeteria for lunch and as usual, Lisa got food for the both of us. As soon as all of us were seated, Jisoo and Chayoung got our attention.

"I can't take this anymore," Jisoo grumbled as she hit the table with an open palm. "Something good happened, didn't it?"

"Yeah, tell us. We've been dying to ask," Chaeyoung said, leaning closer in anticipation.

"What do you mean?" I asked, feigning innocence by tapping my chin with my finger. Lisa kept quiet and I could see her shoulders shaking as she tried to stop herself from laughing.

"Oh come on, you both look... hmm, how do I put this... extra happy today," Jisoo said as she eyed us suspiciously.

"Don't even deny it. It's like your faces are gonna break from all that smiling," Chaeyoung retorted as she crossed her arms.

Lisa looked over at me and batted her lashes. "Did something particularly good happen to you over the weekend, sweetheart?" she said mischievously with an eyebrow raised. The duo's jaws dropped in response, their eyes darting back and forth towards us.

Trying to hold in my laughter, I coughed and answered, "I don't know. How 'bout you? Did something good happen to you, babe?"

"Aside from officially becoming your girlfriend? Nah." She gave me a peck on the cheek as the girls started to squeal in excitement. Lisa and I snickered at their reaction.
