JENNIE'S POV

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we're now approaching Bangkok, Thailand, where the local time is 09:00. At this stage, you should be in your seat with your seatbelt firmly fastened. Personal television screens, footrests and seat tables must be stowed away and all hand luggage stored either in the overhead bins or under the seat in front. Please ensure all electronic devices are turned off."

I looked out the window as the plane started to descend. It was a beautiful day. I was fidgeting the entire flight mostly from excitement but I was exceptionally nervous too. What if he didn't know where she was? But then again, why would he insist on us flying all the way to Thailand if she wasn't here? He could've easily told us over the phone if she were somewhere else or if he had no idea where she was. Right?

Suddenly, I felt Chaeyoung's hand on top of mine and I realized I was clenching my hands together. She gave me a reassuring smile and my nerves calmed down a bit. I was thankful Jisoo and Chaeyoung were adamant in coming with me, because I can't imagine doing this without them, though I knew for sure that nothing could stop them from meeting with Lisa too.

It wasn't easy convincing my doctors and my parents to let me go on a trip because of my current state, not to mention the sessions and appointments I would miss while we were in Bangkok. Though I've made a lot of progress, I still had a long way to go. They even insisted I bring my wheelchair along and wear a mask at all times to make sure I didn't catch anything while I'm out and about in crowded places. Jisoo and Chaeyoung had to reassure them that they'd take care of me before they even considered it. After a lot of promises, begging, and extensive planning, they finally allowed me to go.

We got out of the cabin first as we were prioritized due to my condition. Then, Jisoo pushed my wheelchair through immigration and left me near the conveyor belt so they could gather our luggage. As we exited the building, we saw a woman holding up a sign with our names on it and we approached her.

"Hello," the woman said with a thick accent. "I am Kanya, Bambam's PA. He asked me to fetch you so I could drive you all to his estate. Please follow me."

We thanked her and she led us to a luxurious black van. She helped Jisoo and Chaeyoung load our luggage while I sat on the seat right behind the driver. When we were all settled, the driver pulled out of the arrival area and drove towards the busy streets of Bangkok.

The air in the van was thick with anticipation and no one spoke a word. I kept my eyes focused on the different buildings and structures we passed by as my mind lingered and my fingers played with our rings.

After about an hour, we pulled up in front of a large house in a gated subdivision. The house was beautiful and the lawn was well-kept but I couldn't fully appreciate everything with my thoughts focused on Lisa. Kanya and the driver helped us exit the van then she led us inside to the living room.

She excused herself and told us Bambam would join us in a little while so we sat together at one of the large couches. My heartbeat escalated considerably. I could tell Jisoo and Chaeyoung were as nervous as I was but was trying to hide it as they tried to keep me calm. Jisoo rubbed circles on my back as I held on to Chaeyoung's hand like a lifeline. After a few minutes, Bambam strode in and approached us with his arm extended towards us.

"Hi. I know we've been introduced before but I'm Bambam, one of Lisa's best friends," he said. We introduced ourselves and shook his hand before he motioned for us to sit.

"Before I bring you to her, I need you to understand something. Lisa... she's been... different since that day. The day she lost Sam..."

"Lisa, everything's set. The security team assured me that they've got things covered. We'll begin the concert on time," my manager said as I was getting the final touches on my hair and make-up.
