[Author's note: The hero costume I chose for Kaida is the picture above, but it can be whatever you want]
"Holy mother of sexy, you look bomb." Mina gaped as Kaida stepped out of the girls change rooms, chucking an awkward pose to show off the hero costume decorating her body.
"It's a little shorter at the front than I wanted." Kaida gave an embarrassed laugh, pulling down the front of her costume in a futile attempt to cover her thighs.
Mina slapped her hands away. "Oh stop it, you look great! Plus, showing a little skin will probably be good for publicity." She winked.
They had only been at UA a month, and already they stood in wait for their first real fighting test.
Kaminari rested an elbow on Kaida's shoulder as she settled beside Kirishima, and she stiffened as he leaned his weight on her.
"Stop undressing me with your eyes you perv" Kaida shot at him, grabbing the back of his head so the eyes currently pointed at her tightly clad chest rose to meet her intense stare.
He pulled away, rubbing the back of his head where Kaida had gripped him. "Sorry about that, cutie. You look good."
The bright smile returned to its place on Kaida's face. "Thanks" she chirped.
The two had gotten on well in the little time they had known each other. Kaminari was a refreshing level of energetic idiocy, a comedic moron and genius at the same time; and Kaida thoroughly enjoyed his company despite the fact that she occasionally caught him looking at her like she was something he wanted to eat.
Mr Aizawa and All Might had arrived at the front of the group of students by now. Kaida couldn't say she was the number #1 hero's biggest fan. Sure, he had saved a lot of lives, and it wasn't that she didn't respect him but...he was a man; one that reached almost double her height, and one she knew she probably couldn't beat, and that thought made the hero's presence highly uncomfortable.
"The hero team will search the building and retrieve the bomb from the villain team! Heroes, all you must do to win is touch the bomb. Villains, prevent the heroes from coming into contact with the bomb! The rest of the class will be analyzing each battle from the viewing room and the killing of other students is strictly prohibited!" All Might declared, his absurdly loud voice making Kaida's head hurt.
She frowned at the ground in front of her, lips pursed and arms crossed. A battle trial had sounded like a good way to blow off some steam, and maybe show off a little in front of the rest of class 1-A, until the unfortunate event of being randomly assigned teams had made the activity a little less appealing. It was inevitable that it would go wrong, right?
Izuku Midoriya & Kaida Kisaragi vs Katsuki Bakugou & Ochako Uraraka
All Might's announcement only confirmed her prediction. She had assumed bad luck would team her up with Bakugou, but maybe being pitted against him was worse.
From what she'd seen in the single month she had known Bakugou Katsuki, the boy was a narcissistic maniac. Kaida had no doubt she could beat him in a fight, but having to stare down his fierce glare day after day was taking its toll.
Just looking into his crimson eyes, burning with wrath and violence, filled her with the same fury that overcame her when she thought about her father, a burning desire to just beat the shit out of the ash blonde that was difficult to suppress. Luckily, being in hero school, she would no doubt have the chance to crush him soon. For now, she would have to stick to simply annoying the hell out of the boy.
"Hey, you- you're Kaida right? I'm your partner!" A nervous voice yanked Kaida out of her daydream, and she quickly wiped away the frown that had unconsciously spread across her face, replacing it with a threatening smirk. Although, she needn't have bothered with intimidating the green-haired boy in front of her, as she angled her head downwards to inspect the stuttering voice's owner.
