QUIRK NAME : siren
EXPLANATION : the user of this quirk has all the abilities of the mythological aquatic creature of the same name. the main facets of this ability are "luring" others with their voice and hydrokinesis. the user could possibly have aquatic features due to this ( i.e. gills, scales, a tail, fish ears etc. ).
the user can mimic any other abilities that sirens, or similar creatures, have as well ( changing their appearance slightly, their lure is a form of telepathy, underwater breathing etc. )
PROS : the radius of "lure" is up to three kilometers maximum, but the user can go less than that ( or more when/if they get stronger ). "lure" works best when singing but small commands when speaking can also work. bonus: their voice is angelic.
as for hydrokinesis, the user can move something as small as a small droplet of water to a tidal wave ( but this depends on how you wish to write your character's development in their quirk. ) the user can breathe underwater with their gills, swim extremely fast and can see well in murky depths.
the user can find water in things ( like food or leaves or blood etc. ) but cannot generate their own water. they can swim in any kind of water ( hot or cold ).
CONS : literally useless in a fire unless there's a giant lake around or something. their tolerance to hot air is really bad. the user will get severe migraines, dizzy spells and severe dehydration if they do not ingest at least three gallons of water a day.
some bodies of water may not respond well to the user. like, if they're a "freshwater" siren type, then they might not like seawater or vice versa.
their lure ability only lasts for a few minutes, depending on how far their radius is and/or how many people it is used on. if used on one person who is one meter away, it could last for upwards of thirty minutes. if used on one hundred people and the radius expands to sixty meters or something, it would only last for like ten minutes.
HERO NAME IDEAS : triton, siren, gills, hydro, neptune, tidal, tsunami, tropic storm, cyclone etc.
EXTRAS : omg what if this quirk user is rlly insecure abt making friends because they can't control their quirk fully omg. side-note; they're from a family of pro-heroes called, wait for it, the seven seas. lmao idk. tell me if yall take this or not !! not a requirement, i'd just like to see what yall do with this :)
