EXPLANATION
↳ the user of this quirk can manipulate the size of any kind of atoms they want! they can make atoms smaller, bigger, wider, thinner, longer, shorter etc.
PROS
↳ the range of this quirk is pretty limitless as it works on human beings as well as inanimate objects. perhaps the user can also make gravitational atoms around them smaller enabling them to fly? i dunno, this is pretty versatile and has many applications! for example, if todoroki were to throw ice at them - they could manipulate it and throw it right back. or if bakugou launched an explosion at the user, then they could shrink the atoms down into nothing-ness.
and perhaps this could be one of those quirks that people might confuse for something else - they might think its the enlargement/shrinking of atoms, but really its just atom manipulation in general! its up to you.
may eventually be able to manipulate their own atoms - so, they can enlarge like mt. lady or shrink like ant-man!
CONS
↳ really hard to control. like. insanely difficult - atoms are literally not visible to the eye. can you imagine trying to manipulate something that you can't even see? the user also can't control the things inside of an atom ( sub-atomic particles ), so they are limited in that aspect.
to use this power, you need to concentrate on each individual atom all at once which would result in severe headaches or dizziness, perhaps even chronic bleeding and migraines? might even pass out if they push themselves too hard. chaning the atoms of living things is really difficult so the user may not even attempt to do that until they're more advanced.
due to these cons, the user may be discouraged from using their quirk and this could be very detrimental to their mindset and self-confidence :(
ULTIMATE HERO MOVE IDEAS
↳ the user would enlarge themselves and perhaps their surroundings as well if their are no civillians around. then they would forcefully shrink their opponent before crushing them with their foot. i call this, 'The Heel of God'. this same move can be done with other body parts also!
the user could pull a shigaraki ( or an infinity war idk ) and just. pull people apart atom by atom - a slow form of horrific torture. i call it 'Breakdown'.
