Chapter 1

Everything doesn't seem easy in the first time. Gaya na lang ngayon na nahihirapan akong iwan ang taong naging dahilan kung bakit buhay pa ako ngayon. Kailangan ba talaga?

Pinagmasdan ko sa huling sandali si Lola na nakangiti sa'kin habang may luhang tumutulo sa mga mata niya. I would miss her so damn much. Gusto kong tumakbo papalapit sa kanya at punasan ang mga luha niya kaso hindi pwede. Baka magbago ang desisyon ko at hindi na ako tumuloy pa.

I mouthed her 'I love you' before I faced the borders line. I let out a deep breath while holding my luggage before I cross the borders line. I felt a different tension when I step onto it. Parang pinagsamang init at lamig. Nilibot ko ang paningin ko at napansin kong hindi na ito ang gubat na kinatatayuan ko kanina. Seems like I'm in a different world. Nilingon ko ang pinaggalingan ko at hindi ko na nakita si lola. I don't even see the borders line that I crossed. Nasan na 'yon?

I even saw a sign and something's written on it. Hydera Penha. Is it the name of their world?

"We met again... Niane."

Agad akong napalingon sa nagsalita at humigpit ang hawak ko sa maletang dala ko. He really looks like my father.

"Are you tito Arthemis?" Kahit na magkamukha sila ni dad ay hindi dapat ako magpadalos dalos. Maybe he's just a fake one.

"Of course, its me hija." Ngumiti siya sa'kin and in just one snap, he's in front of me."Can I hug you? Its been 7 years and I really missed you." Dahan dahan akong tumango at lumapit sa kanya para mayakap niya ako.

Gumaan ang pakiramdam ko sa yakap niya. Maybe because he's my father's twin brother at namimiss ko na rin si dad kaya niyakap ko rin siya pabalik. He's really my tito because I felt comfortable with him.

"Let's go. I will take you to your new school." Kumalas na ako sa yakap namin at tumingin sa kanya ng nagtataka.

"How could we get there, tito? Don't tell me you'll gonna carry me?" I asked frustratingly.

Kahit naman tito ko siya ayokong magpabuhat sa kanya. I'm a teenager at hindi na ako bata. It would be embarrasing.

"Of course not." Tumawa siya at tumabi kaya nakita ko ang isang magarang sasakyan sa di kalayuan. Its different from the cars on Zeal, my world. I-Its cool.

"But... Paanong... Wala namang sasakyan diyan kanina. Paano 'yan napunta diyan?" I asked full of curiosity.

"I'm a pureblood vampire, Niane. My ability is teleportation. I can teleport anything that I want even myself," pagpapaliwanag niya at sumakay sa kotse kaya sumunod na rin ako.

Si tito ang naglagay ng maleta ko sa likod ng kotse habang ako naman ay pumasok sa passenger seat.

I was surprised. I always thought that a a vampire has super powers like average speed, super strength, and sense of hearing. But I don't know that they have also special abilities. He's amazing.

"Lahat ba ng bampira may special ability, tito?"

He shook his head."No. Just the powerful blood can have special ability. The rest, they only have common abilities." Napatango naman ako sa sinabi niya.

I understand why tito Art has a special ability. He's a pureblood, of course. Nasabi rin kase sa'kin ni lola na makapangyarihan ang angkan nila kaya for sure they have the powerful blood.

"Eh si dad, tito. What's his super ability?" Nakatingin lang ako sa labas habang pinagmamasdan ang mga puno na nadaanan namin. There we're tall trees and different kinds of flowers na wala sa amin. They we're all unique.

"My twin brother has the ability to erase memories. But he doesn't like his ability because he think its useless. Wala naman daw siyang paggagamitan ng kapangyarihan niya dahil ayaw niya itong gamitin sa kung sino man." This time, I looked at tito who is currently looking at me pero agad niya ring iniwas ang tingin sakin.
