Sorry for keeping yall waiting. My internet keeps going out and I was having a lot of problems with figuring out how I should structure this lmao.

:3 also I still have no idea how to write this :/

Also Idk if this really fits the timeline of what went on IRL. :/

Ten days.

Ten days have gone by, and they still kept coming. Many things have changed in such a small amount of time.

The sense of karma and Deja Vu kept growing stronger. What was causing this? Things that would normally be seen as insignificant had become whispers in conversations. Things such as random blocks that stood out in their surroundings, a Hermit leaving something like a shulker box behind or even signs in odd places - which was most likely a prank or a forgotten area where they had plans to build. Everyone had become paranoid, it was strange. The large group of players had never been so on edge before, yet they all tried so hard to pretend that it was all okay. They weren't fooling anyone. Even the mobs seemed cautious like pesky parrots and, the brown and white cows.

Emotions swarmed the hermits, it was like a wave of saltwater during winter, neither warm nor calming. A few of the players - such as Xisuma, Cub and, Joe - had come up with theories as to what was causing this.

Cub had suspected the Vexes, he wasn't sure of this though. The only reason he theorized this was due to Scars actions, his friend had been acting odd. Scar had been avoiding almost everyone. This type of behaviour was dismissed by many but Cub always felt guilty when he tried to give an easy explanation to this. He and Scar had 'connections' with the Vexes so it was slightly reasonable for him to think this.

Then other hermits started acting eerie and strange, so he then decided to wholly forget this idea entirely.

Joe didn't exactly have a 'theory', it was more of a feeling. This had all happened after the election; this had to be caused by one of the Hermits. Doc and Mumbo had lost by a lot. They both had zero voters. Neither seemed bothered by this. Mumbo even seemed relieved to have not won. Perhaps this was not the reason.

As well as lighting glitches and poorly loaded chunks, Xisuma had noticed some anomalies in the world's coding. The slightly broken world must've made the hermits tense. Of course, they were anxious and a bit stressed, an enormous update in a hell-like dimension plus a buggy world would make anyone like that.

Two hermits were building together in a (now chopped down) area of a jungle. The area they chose to build in was rather far away from the Hermits and their projects; people rarely flew over them whilst they planned and built. Dirt pillars and a colourful mess of shulker boxes were spewed across the dug up area, the greyness of the floor contrasting greatly with the lush green surroundings. The rubber-like texture of the netherack - that sat lazily in the shulkers and chests - would soon be all they felt on the ground, they were planning on turning this land into something that looked like the Nether.

'What's this block called?' One of the Hermits asked, looking smug underneath his mask.

'Uh...' The other one took a while to think, 'is it, Blackstone... Wall-fence thingy?'

He sounded very unsure of his answer, many new blocks had been added and some were rather unfamiliar. Both himself and Etho had both taken up an extremely difficult challenge. This challenge was to terraform a significant percentage of land into a mini Nether. This area would then be transformed into a theme park-like place. Deciding on a name for it was harder than expected.

A few hours had past and the sky was now an ocean of colours. The ground had been covered with netherack that absorbed the dim light coming from the setting sun. A path had been crudely built as a temporary design until more ideas come flooding in for a more appealing looking one.

'I think we did a good job today!' Tango spoke with excitement, his hands firmly placed on his hips and his chest puffed outwards in pride.

'I definitely think we should choose a different block palette, it kinda clashes with the ground.' He tilted his head,' don't you think?'

Etho hummed in agreement his mind already occupied with something else. Tango continued to ramble on about how they could convert this netherack into something more attractive and natural. His pale yet slightly reddish hand moved buoyantly with every word; his blonde hair being caught ever so often by the cartoonish hand movements

The sun had now vanished from the purple and navy sky. Stars danced across the clouded welkin whilst the moon was nowhere to be seen. Tango's constant muttering was being ignored by Etho.

He had noticed something odd. He had noticed a flicker of light through the gigantic trees and dense wilderness. It was blue, perhaps cyan. The faint glow was alluring yet slightly threatening.

It flickered again. Even closer than before. Etho recoiled.

It flickered again, brighter and closer. A crossbow was now pointed towards it. Hand trembling ferociously.

Tango stopped talking. 'What are you doing, is it a raid?'
Etho breathed shakily, he shook his head.

A fourth blue flash happened.

It was much closer

The blonde hermit instantly tried to hide behind Etho. His golden hair brushed against Ethos white locks

They were both shook to their core. They already had problems and now they had to face whatever or whoever this was.

It ran fast. Etho shot at it with multiple arrows, they all missed. This figure was nothing but a blur and it was heading towards them at an unexpected and rapid rate.
