With a snap of her fingers, Isis' blue gown changed into a set of golden chainmail and armor. A beautiful glaive materialized, it's pole made from engraved dark wood and the curved blade-head stained gold. I really wasn't expecting a glaive from the motherly and loving goddess. She smiled at my gaping and laughed, reveling in my surprise.

Another rumble knocked me off my feet. "What are they attacking exactly?" I asked, getting back on my feet.

"They are trying to get past the barrier. They want into this place but this is my domain, only those I want can come and go. Either way, they are getting on my nerves." Her motherly voice changed into one that reminded me more of a military leader. "Quickly make your contract." She ordered.

I nodded and turned to my elf. "You ready for your new name?" I asked her and she smiled back at me nodding violently. I reached a hand out to her and pulled her closer. "Henceforth you shall be called Nebula. It means mist in Latin, but it's also the word for the clouds of colored gasses out in the universe." She smiled mouthing her new name and a shimmering light came over her. The ends of her shifted into a rainbow of color and her eyes looked like a rainbow incarnate.

She shifted into her fan form which also changed slightly. The fabric between the spines was once a simple pale blue satin with simplistic markings but now it looked like a mirror into the universe itself. It was as if the fabric was cut from the very fabric of space. Moons, stars, galaxies, and colorful nebulas contrasted against pitch black. When you shifted the fan, the very stars shifted too, like a hologram.

Isis smiled at the change before spreading her colorful wings. I shifted into my owl form to follow her back through the hole I came through earlier. Another rumble happened right as we left that dimension. Like a geyser, we sprang up from the bottom of the lake.

There on the banks was a woman. A woman who looks a hella like Isis. Well, they are sisters. Well shit. Unlike her sister who was made of gold, Nephthys looked like she was made from silver. Her skin looked like she was made from pure polished silver, her hair like straightened metal shavings. She was definitely beautiful but in a 'look but don't touch' way. A large clubbed staff was balanced in her silver hands, and she looked like she came to use it

"So you've gained a few new tricks since we last met. You still don't look like much." She taunted, her ebony black eyes shimmered with fury. I took my chances and landed next to her shifting before my feet touched the ground. She was startled at first but quickly drew her club back.

"I know why Ausir wants me dead, but I still haven't found your motive. Care to explain why a human girl has you so terrified?" I challenged her. My eyes locking with hers, daring her to make a move. Her face contorted in shock. Like how a queen's face would look getting back-talked by a peasant kind of look. She was shooketh.

"Well," She shook her head regaining her mentality. "I want you dead for roughly the same reason. You are the only person in the world, no universe, who can kill us gods. A power like that is too dangerous. Like a weed, you shall be stripped of your life." She laughed evilly. Was she serious?

"Just admit it, you just want to kill me cause that's what Ausir wants. You just want him to love you, right?" I said dead-panned. Her laughing stopped suddenly, and she turned before dropping into a crouch. Her hands wound up to her face as you'd see in an anime. The girl gets caught snooping or peeking so she does the same stance blushing heavily.

You could hear her mumbling to herself. Isis landed next to me and just kind of gave her this look. The peacock woman and I just exchanged a look. A 'what in the actual fuck' going unsaid.
