The day finally rolled around. Sekhmet, Bastet, Jess, and Anna all helped me dress. Sekhmet and Jessica dealt with my mess of hair while Bastet and Anna did my makeup. Today would fell like a rush.

They did my hair up in a crown of braids and pearl hairpins. Silver and pearls decorated my ears and neck. My face was slathered in foundation but a light blush and faint eyeshadow colored my face. Sekh would deck me out in more vibrant makeup for the party afterward.

They helped me dress in the perfectly fitted dress. my bridesmaids were all dressed in the same red dress. The simple dresses stopped at their knees with several layers of ruffled fabric. Little roses and flowers decorated the bodice. A length of silver acted like straps but came down to criss-cross around their midriff before making a final wrap around for a final time before tying into a bow. The dresses were super cute and could be used for a lot more than just the wedding.

The bridesmaids also wore little butterfly wing earrings and colorful makeup to make them look like fairies. They all looked super cute. I know in the other room, the groomsmen were wearing leather armor and fake swords at their hips. Sobek had given me a sneak peek yesterday of the leather that he had worked on. They were beautiful. Both groups would change into whatever they wanted for the afterparty.

I knew what Set would be wearing a waist-length white tunic with gold embroidery. A similar white and gold cape would fall at his shoulders and to the ground. White trousers would be hidden under thigh-high leather boots. We had picked it out together when we were coming up with the theme. However, I had no idea what he would be wearing to the afterparty, just as he didn't know what I'd be wearing. All we knew is we'd be dressed as Pharoah and Queen.

Marcus drove Smokey and Bandit to pick up the guests, my bridesmaids, and Set's groomsmen. Everyone I could think of came, including Gamil who was super happy to have been invited. Ruth promised to be on her best behavior and even James came dressed as nicely as he could. Marcus was dressed in a nice suit and tophat although he grumbled at it. He would drop the rest of the group at the hill and then come back with Sleipnir and Hulda. He would take Set first and then come back for me with the carriage.

The hill itself had many arches of vines and twinkle lights. Potted flowers were placed everywhere. Wooden chairs were decorated with vines of fake flowers, some even glowed. Petals of all types were scattered about while a bubble machine whirled in a secret spot. Vines of twinkle lights had been strewn on the trees. Sekh and I had decorated it mostly yesterday and finished it this morning while Sobek, Set, and the other men decorated the barn.

Everything went perfectly smoothly. The guests oohed and ahhed as I walked down the aisle. Halfway down I switched from my Step-Dad to my real one, giving them both a chance to walk me down the aisle. Set looked dumbfounded at the sight of me smiling and grinning the whole time.

The ceremony was over quickly. Set and I kissed for the camera, which had been going the whole time. The cameraman had come highly recommended, and he was good at staging everyone for good pictures. Once the final pictures were done the two of us walked back to the carriage with huge smiles. Marcus smiled at us as he opened the door to the carriage and helped us inside. Sekhmet and Anubis hopped onto the back to come back with us. I threw the bouquet out the window which settled itself in Jess's hands.

Marcus helped us out before taking the carriage back to grab the rest of the guests. The two of us kissed again before we were ushered apart and taken back into our rooms by our head helpers.  Sekhmet immediately started getting me out of my dress and into my secondary dress. She stripped off my eye makeup and started redoing it with glimmering gold eyeshadow and dramatic eyeliner mimicking the Eye of Ra. Deep red lipstick was applied and touched with the same gold.

Our outfits told a story. During the ceremony, we were dressed as a gold prince and a silver princess, opposites, and simply a prince and princess. During the afterparty, we would both dress in gold and look like an Egyptian king and queen. Together on the throne. Neither of us knew if anyone would pick up on it, but it was worth it. Sekhmet had loved the idea and made the dress accordingly.

Sekhmet moved quickly, affixing the exquisite golden headdress to my head, and helped put on the golden collar I received when I went back in time. I wore a simple white flowing dress underneath, and a golden belt at my hip. My new ring which looked like a rose holding the diamond with small diamond leaves sat happily on my fingers. Heavy golden earrings were pushed through my lobes and gold bangles chimed on my wrists.

Sekhmet stood back and looked over me. "You look even better than Cleopatra. A true Egyptian queen." I smiled blushing under her intense gaze.

"Well, you look beautiful as well." She was wearing a long teal blue simple gown. She looked younger than normal, due to the makeup. She still used her elderly Elaine human form, but I didn't see her like that, I saw her as the beautiful goddess of war. She blushed.

"Today is about you, not me. It's time to go I think. The men are probably already waiting. Now let's go." She pulled me out the door with a smile.

She was right, Marcus waited for us with the carriage and told us that he had already dropped the men off at the barn. The two of us hopped into the carriage and let him whisk us away to the barn. We hopped out when we arrived and I thanked Marcus for all of his help. I almost felt bad with all the running around he did today. I promised him a raise and several free desserts. He tipped his hat with a smile and a compliment.

The barn was decorated with murals of Egypt and several objects from Heru's tomb. Sobek had even brought in a huge statue of Anubis and a sarcophagus from their personal collection. I waltzed in with Sekhmet but was intercepted by my new husband who offered his arm. I saw Anubis standing over by the statue of himself with a nod and a grin.

Set wore a real pharaoh's kilt and tunic. A pharaoh's headdress sat upon his brow and a collar and draped belt, which was similar to my own, gave him the air of majesty. The tunic caressed him across the chest leaving very little to the imagination but the kilt kept his legs free. He assured me he was wearing shorts underneath making sure no one would see anything during our dance.  I giggled at the thought and blushed before him. He walked me inside and we both held our heads high.

The dinner came first and I was most pleased about it. I made the entire menu and even made our wedding cake, which was a two-tiered cake. I iced it in an off-white color and decorated it with yellow flowers. I gave it very little decoration instead using the simple flowers as the decor. The top, however, was decorated with edible gold flakes and the topper which looked like us. The top tier was a coffee creme with brandy-spiked icing, while the bottom was simple champagne with a strawberry and vanilla icing.

After dinner was our dance which went perfectly. Everyone cheered and cried and took video. The cameraman had seen the dance beforehand so he knew when to take the best pictures, although the faint clicking of the shutters was continuous. After the dance, we left the floor open for anyone else as we sat down to catch our breaths.

"I don't know about you but I am super happy." Set whispered.

"I'll have to agree." I whispered back, leaning into him. We spent the rest of the night partying, drinking, and playing wedding games. I took turns dancing with both of my dads and even Anubis since he was now part of the family. We were all happy.

Within the shadows of the nearby forest, a shadow fell across the watcher's face. So that was the foretold god-hunter. She didn't seem that dangerous, if they were honest with themselves, she looked pathetically weak. The watcher couldn't wait to spill her blood. After all, the god-hunter was the only one strong enough to stop their plan, and they weren't going to let that happen.
