Before you start shifting you should know the terminology.

Respawn: I don't know much about this but from what I've learned it's when you permanently live in your dr. This is very different from your clone because whereas with your clone you stay alive when you respawn your cr body dies. I DO NOT recommend this. Please do not do this!

Clone: Your clone is not really a clone of you, instead it is a version of you with a different consciousness. They look like you and do things you would do while you are in a different reality. So don't worry about them doing something you will regret. You can also script them to be more aware, kind, etc. You can also leave notes for your clone telling them what to do while you're gone.

Cr: cr stands for the current reality. Basically, it means the reality which we are born into.

Dr: dr stands for desired reality. This is the reality that you create and that you soon will be shifting into.

Wr: wr stands for the waiting room. This is a place you can (you don't have to, some people don't) shift to before your dr. You would come to the wr if you need a space to script your dr or you just want to leave this reality but don't wish to create a dr. Your wr can be an actual waiting room, a field, a blank room, anything works. Remember, your imagination is the only limit.

Tr: tr stands for temporary reality. This is a reality that you stay in temporarily. I don't know much about tr but you can always do research. Which brings me to my next point.

Research is important when it comes to learning how to shift. My first-night shifting, I did not know much about it and most likely that was the reason why it didn't work. But after I did some research I was more educated about shifting and have come very close to succeeding!

Some resources for shifting are:

-Amino.com

-Tiktok

-Wattpad

Personally, I find Amino.com to be the most helpful. Amino gives advice, tips, methods, and explanations for shifting. I really recommend this website. I also really recommend using Tiktok as a resource. I have found lots of people on the app who have shifted and given tips about how to shift. Some even have a whole account dedicated to helping others.
