Falling too Fast and Way too Hard (Levi Love Story)

Underground Competition Pt. 1

Levi's P.O.V.

I looked up when I heard voices. Mina and Sakura were standing in the hall. They had on matching outfits. They were wearing black pants, red shirts, black belts, and long black over coats. They both looked at me when I walked up to them.

"And where are you two going?" I asked.

"To the Underground City." Mina answered.

"There's a dancing competition some people hold every year. Mina and I used to be apart of the Underground, so we're expected to perform." Sakura added.

I looked at Mina. She had no expression on her face. I sighed, walked back to my room, and grabbed my Special Forces jacket. I pulled it on and slid on my Special Forces cape. I was already wearing the rest of the uniform.

"I guess you're coming with us." Sakura muttered.

Mina punched her arm, and Sakura rubbed it. The two started jumping in place, and I watched as a smile spread across Mina's face.

"Let's go kick some ass!" She yelled.

They ran down the hall, and I caught a glimpse of a darker version of the Special Forces' wings of freedom. I shook my head and followed them. They busted through the door of the barracks, howling and ranting loudly like wild animals.

I looked around. It had been years since I had been in the Underground City. Mina and Sakura shoved each other while they walked, laughing and smiling at their own idiocy. It was one of the few moments Mina was happy when we weren't alone.

They suddenly stopped, and I stood beside Mina. A piece of cardboard was taped to the ground, and a CD player was set up close to it. A man walked up to us, and he glared at Mina.

"I thought you were gonna be apart of the Special Forces, Mitsuyoshi." He snapped.

Sakura turned and pointed to the wings of freedom that were on her back. Mina smirked.

"We know how much your people like to watch us, Misawa. We have been the champions for three years." She said.

"Give me your CD before I punch you in the face. You actually deserve it for bringing that one here." The man, Misawa, pointed to me.

Something glittered in Sakura's hand, and she handed it to Mina. Mina then shoved it at Misawa.

"If you ever refer to my boyfriend as 'that one' ever again, you'll have less teeth in your mouth than your buck-toothed brother." She snapped

She grabbed my hand and pulled me over to another group of people. Sakura followed behind us, skipping like a child.

"Sorry about Misawa, Mina. He's a bit crabby about you two being champions." A girl said, walking up to us.

Mina looked away. "He should get over it. His family will never beat the Wings of Freedom."

Music started playing. Mina and I looked at Sakura when she squealed.

"It's starting!" She cheered.

Mina looked at me and kissed me quickly. She and Sakura headed toward the gathering mass of people. Most of them matched two to three other people.

I had already watched four other groups perform. Mina and Sakura were next.

When they stepped onto the piece of cardboard, the crowd around me cheered. Misawa put their CD into the CD player and pressed play. Mina started nodding her head to the beat before they both started dancing.

Watching them dance made me smile. They were both in sync, making them mirror images of each other. The only differences were their heights and hair colors. Every other minute they would look at each other and smile. Mina looked at me and winked. I could feel heat rush to my cheeks as I blushed.

When they finished dancing, they faced away from the crowd. They walked away as the crowd cheered as loud as they could.
